I’m 55 so not young, but it’s a new generation, we used to take pictures then develop them and put them in a photo album, from what I see most of the people are recording (they are there in person in the moment) but also saving memories, cell phones are just the new way to do that. I’d call them phone zombies if they were at the event face down in the phone on tik tok or instagram, texting. I see mostly filming.
@ yes it is, however when you film yourself you choose what you film and how you film it, for example I saw one video covering it, where it was really difficult to get a good look at some of the cars, either because of the crowd, or the person filming just went too fast or didn’t catch the whole thing. And as someone else mentioned with that thick of a crowd, maybe the only way some people could see the burnout pit was by holding a phone up or sitting on someone’s shoulders lol. To each their own, but my point was I didn’t agree with whoever was calling everyone phone zombies, put your phone down and be present. Like I said they were there and present (most that I saw) to me a phone zombie would be someone attending an event of any kind and spending it texting or watching or making tik tok videos, that type of thing and in that case I would absolutely agree, put your phone down and be present. Pretty sure the most I saw everyone out with the phones at the same time was around the burnout pit. And now a days you can do so much with a phone camera, maybe some people want to video the burn pit for example and then do things with editing to make it different.
its sad that they didn't release a full video themselves about the blockpart 2 , i wonder if they will do it for this one. theankfully other people on youtube releases a video on it
For everyone saying they need to put the phone away…… not everyone is tall lol. They can’t see shit and the best way to see is through a phone. Plus having the moment saved isn’t a bad thing either for them to post about the night!!! Gets others excited for the next one to come!
