thanks for this review since your encouraging me to buy the 14T more because of the comparison to the base models of iphone and samsungs current flagships, 14T users there mind helping a future user of 14T? how's the overall experience with everything?
I recently bought S24 and Xiaomi 14 for testing as possible replacements for my beloved Pixel 5. While X14 get a lot of love in the comments under every video I returned it and kept the S24. One of several reason was the camera. While my old P5 and the S24 keep a very similar look over all lenses, same can’t be said about X14. I made some photos in difficult lighting and every photo had a completely different look based on totally different white balances of the lenses. Same happens when you take videos and use the zoom function. The telephoto lens brightens up scenes completely at times and it just looks bad. Sorry imo Xiaomi has still a lot of work to do.
I used Xiaomi since Redmi note 3 (I think). Back then, Xiaomi was very different, the build quality was very terrible and the camera quality is just like you said (needs a lot of work) but the price to performance was gold. I would definitely consider the 14T if it were a little bit smaller and didn't have the awful HyperOS. Otherwise you get a lot for your money, since the camera is competitive, there is a lot of storage space even in the base model and now it even looks kind of attractive. Performance I don't really care about, anything mid-tier or better made after 2020 is fast enough for me. I considered regular Xiaomi 14 as well, but decided not to get it since I really hate Xiaomi software with passion and the fogging problem didn't make it any better.
HyperOS is also relatively new. Its bound to have a few bugs here and there. And if its the iPhone look you dont like. Well there's a simple reason. Xiaomi are looking to break into US market, which is ruled by the iPhones. So they plan on giving similar experience and as time goes by, changing it to their own style
This is a personal preference, as the iPhone did better in the first two photos. But then, I like contrast rather than over brightness/vividness/super-saturation, but maybe that is what people prefer in this Instagram world? Of course, use photographic styles if you want something more vivid or do some post-editing in the S24 or iPhone. And with Xiaomi, I would probably use the natural mode, which looks more interesting to me.
I prefer iPhones style of processing the photo almost every time. This yellow tint in Xiaomi is very unnatural and I feel like it lacks a details. I have iPhone 15 and it tends to be very flat because of over exposure so I set exposure little lover and block camera in this setting so I do not even to remember about it when I open the camera and take the picture, it's just changed the output of my camera. In iPhone 16 you can create your own leica or any other style because you can edit raw in simple way modifying the heic output to your liking... So why not try sets colors for leica style and then compare it if you prefer that.
The way iPhones handle direct sun is what's been making me consider a switch to other manufacturer. I have iPhone 12 and ever since they still haven't resolved this issues with new models. So far I've seen the new Pixels handle it quite well, now I see Xiaomi 14T does pretty good too.

You'll edit the pictures before uploading to your socials. Let's be real. No matter how true to life your skin tone is. Leica camera does it for you. You don't even have to edit anything.
iPhone non delude mai, nitido, ricordiamoci che xiaomi e samsung sfrutta i software per migliorare ed editare l'immagine, su Iphone è pura, limpidita. nitida, ottima.
I agree that xiaomi totally obliterated iphone and samsung when it comes to photography, and it's insane that you compare S24 and 16 to 14 T! hahahaha not even 14 >.< I noticed huge difference from 14 T to 14, so Xiaomi 14 will for sure demolished iphone x samsung combined. 🤣🤣 kudos to xiaomi. one of the best phone camera ever created
The Xiaomi photos look like the kind of edits I used to make on Photoshop when I was 14 and just learning the software. Back then I thought it looks "cooler" with increased contrast, brightness and les flares all over the place. I suggest maturing up a little if you really think those kind of childish edits are better than what the human eye sees.
Llama más la atención , eso le gusta a la gente normalmente .
Es como el alto contraste o el hdr que cambia el color
are you Persian?
Xiaomi creates a yellowish tone in photographs which doesn't seem natural. I think samsung does best job.
Watching using my Xiaomi 14 T
Bruh literally never regret buying Xiaomi 14t all thing are perfect but the camera it so difficult to me to adjust environment and the only I hate about this phone is battery keep drain even you turn on battery saver. But with midrange this phone is amazing even me as beginner Xiaomi I would try to buy next Xiaomi Ultra phone
All my videos on youtube shot by iphone
Dude its a latest version iphone 16 just wait for xiaomi 15 series
My Instagram feed only has natural photos, I don't really like the vibrancy of the Leica.
no such thing as natural photos every brand uses ai in photos
@@user-gq3eq5bf9t Ask the creator of this video, which one is closest to the real situation, I will choose that one. Of course Xiaomi is the furthest from the real situation
No doubt, leica is amazing
Color's in Xiaomi 14t are not natural
But are better
Bro he said I am using Leica vibrant mode that gives saturated photo unlike Leica authentic with gives realistic colours as your eyes sees
Still my money on goggle pixel 9 pro xl.. battery live is horrible on 14t.. the weight on s24 ultra is so uncomfortable..the ticknes and weight on iphone is a major No on iphone😂
