Decent story, but I really hate the entire made up "code of chivalry" crap that requires no ranged weapons, etc. That is a modern error. Sure, knights in full harness didn't use bows, but that was because of practical issues, not any code. Many did use bows in hunting or situations where full harness wasn't required.
