Hi j krub, thanks for your comment. I appreciate your time to share your thoughts on this. I am also wondering bakit kaya ayaw nila eh magbabayad naman ng tax ang Jollibee sa kanila, di ba dagdag kita na rin yun sa bansa nila? What is your take on this bro? Thanks be safe!

They have a much higher GDP than the Filipinos pero parang di sila maka afford to dine. Mass pipiliin nila ang mga sangkatutak na street foods na available sa daad in a much cheaper price at nakakabusog pa ayun sa standard of staple food nila. Salamat.

So now mas better ikaw na lang magluto mg spag mo with TJ hotdogs and del monte sweet style spag sauce. Toppings nalang mg eden cheese eh di tapos ang laban.

Jollibee is an all-time favorite.

First of all, you need a critical mass (OFWs, etc.) of potential and actual consumers, which Bangkok doesn't really have or is only now beginning. Unlike in HCMC and Hanoi in VN, where the Jolibees cater to the the mid or upper mid class (and market themselves so), Jollibee BKK will have so much competition of fast food chains already. Local Thai food is in itself excellent, varied and cheap, and Jollibee will have no place and will certainly be looked down upon for its so-so taste. KFC Thai will therefore have very spicy dishes. There are many transit Pinoys called viajeros in BKK (trading the Greenhills RTW, tamarinds, etc..) but they have a few Pinoy restos catering to them in the Patumwan area, near Pantip Plaza. Recently a few more Pinoy restos have opened elsewhere. Before the pandemic, the Pinoy tourists (3 days for the most part) will look for their fave Thai dishes (pad Thai, som tam, etc.) and will not think of Jollibee, or else why leave home? More feasibility could be had for Red Ribbon or Pancake House.

Hi PIng! At present, Jollibee is now in the process of entering different parts of the world including Australia, according dun sa case study na nabasa ko their first strategy is to bring Jollibee to markets with a significant number of Filipinos living there. Once established, the will crossover to the local mainstream customers in Australia and establish branches tulad ng ginawa nila sa Vietnam.
