I first came to hear this Chorale Fantasia over thirty years ago when I was recovering from a brain haemorrhage. It was challenging to listen to at first but the sublime Bach chorale and the amazing unravelling of Reger's development inspired me. Thank you Agnieska for this profound and brilliant performance. I now enjoy it more than ever.

Bravissimo Agnieszka !!! Eine der besten Orgelkompositionen von Max Reger die auch Ich /bei Abiturprobe in Kromeriz, Moravien im Jahre 1973 / spielte und folgend noch am Sommerkurs von Jiri Reinberger auf neuer Orgel Rieger-Kloss in Usti nad Labem am Konzert. Man kann dabei viel erlernen nicht nur was Pedaltechnik angeht sondern auch bei der musikalischen Aufbau dieses grossen Werkes. Ich bedanke es meinem lieben Professor Karel Pokora der dieses Werk selbst bei seinem Lehrer Frantisek Michalek in Brno /JAMU/ studierte. Folgte noch Phantasie und Fuge über B-A-C-H und neulich Regers Schule des Triospiels /Josef Rafaja youtube/. Ähnlich wie Karel Pokora ach Jiri Reinberger an der prager Akademie war Reger ganz ergebt. Agnieszka spielt wunderbar in jedem Sinn und das Instrument ist für Regersche Musik ganz ideal und sehr wirkungsvoll. Mit dieser Aufnahme konnte ich auf meine "Orgeljugend" angenehm zurückdenken. Und um nicht zu vergessen, hier sind meine Schüller am Konservatorium zu Pardubice die dieses Stück auch im Laufe der Jahre sehr gut spielten, vor allem Stanislava Drevikovska und Frantisek Vanicek aber auch die anderen wie Lucie Zakova,Klara Kubatova und Katerina Jiresova.

I took piano lessons for several years in grade school and am dabbling in it again now that I am retired at age 70. I wonder if I will live long enough to become proficient in playing the pipe organ. Have listened to multiple performances of this piece by some very fine organists. This one really seems unusually good. The louder and quieter parts of the piece felt more integrated.
Ultime perfection, beauty and joy only a human being can reach. Realize that many people have contributed to this wonder: Luther, Reger, the organ builder, the family and teachers of this great organist, and her own body and spirit who work together. This piece tells you, if you listen well, how you should be. A variation in tempo, power, sound, emotions etcetera. I have just one wish in life: if I ever could play this masterpiece.
I agree with every word, especially the last sentence. I have played organ for 40 years but the skill to play this has escaped me. Perhaps after another 20 years.
The only thing I would add is builders (plural). Everything from a gothic case, historic pipework through to a swell pedal and combination pistons is a rare combination of contributions over several centuries.

A demonstration of the height (Burg) of human avhievement! What can rival a perfectly executed piece of music involving ten digits and two limbs ! Lady you make us smile in approbation and awe. A truly 'hat-doffing' performance indeed.
There is a grace and grandeur in this work of that i find so appropriate to Luthers hymn. I love this interpretation that unhurriedly walks us along Regars Complex passage. Good for the soul and substrate of imagination 😁Thank you
It’s called king of instruments with good reason! I’m a horn player and fan of jazz, classical, pop, rock, etc., but this kind of piece and playing is my idea of musical heaven. TY:)

Sehr gut gespielt finde ich! Ich spiele auch Orgel allerdings habe ich erst tocatta und fuge in d Moll von Bach gespielt und die reger tocatta Nr 6 op 59. Aber sie spielen besser als ich gehe ich davon aus 😎👍🏻
