Hello nilssonbla Richard, Thanks for taking the time to upload these old series. After listening to news all day long, I always look forward to unwinding listening to these great old radio programs.
Expense account, $85.20 airfare and incidentals Hartford, Connecticut to Las Vegas...ha ha ha, I luv it. Bob Baily is the best Jonny Dollar, the rest are also rans, but. like Jonny would say, "Aw skip it," just suffice it to say I appreciate your posting these. End of account, half a million. Yours truly you know who.
I so completely agree, Bailey was THE best Johnny Dollar, even outedging Edmund O'Brien in the role. I wish Bailey had opted to move to New York with the production company, but Bob didn't want to relocate, and thus two more actors would go on to star as our "insurance investigator with the action-packed expense account" until the show ended its run in 1962.
Thanks for posting these shows up! My husband turned me on to old radio show (well I liked a few but we both introduced one another to our favs😊). This is one of my favorites. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Funny you should SAY "Valentine!" Bob Bailey who stars as Johnny Dollar, had previously played a radio detective named "George *Valentine* " in the long running series "Let George Do It!"
@@zombiesneedluv21 I've heard a few of those "George" episodes, and they're pretty good. A tad more lighthearted than most of the Johnny Dollar episodes. 🙂
I listen to Johnny Dollar every night at bedtime. Thanks for uploading the radio series
I drive for a living, this is so much better than talk radio. Thanks for sharing.
Bob Bailey is Johnny Dollar like Sean Connery is James Bond. I love these episodes!!! Thanks for uploading these. It makes my day.
No ! Edmond O'BRIEN did Original shows not Copies like Bailey and Lund ! Give Edmond his Due HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY JOHNNY DOLLAR 🤑💰 COVFEFE

YEP I agree with you, it might be one of my favorites too 👍
Outstanding episode. It was nice to listen to a young actress instead of a grown woman portraying a young girl.
Listen to these to help sleep
Yaa I listened to two last night for 3 hours of excitement 🤣 now maybe I can go to sleep , GREAT SHOW ‼️
Would it be possible to list the dates these shows were originally aired? That would be nice!
Happy valentines for those without one
