Bro stating that a wide shovel don't help with short radius turn is just not true when carving, wider profile means shorter radius turn. Tho a wider shovel is more catchy if you don't want to carve.
Hello guys ! Need some help to choose my first true ski ! I'm hesitating between the Faction Dictator 3.0 2022, And The Nordica Enforcer 104 ! I'm advanced 168cm, 65Kg skier, I mostly do backcountry, black bump, forest, and pow or bad pow with lot of passage, and as well as normal piste ski ! :) Very hard to choose for me... Love the rigidity of the Faction, but love the more fun Enforcer 104, idk, help me haha
Speaking as a snowboarder, but it's the same concept. Chatter is basically the skis vibrating and almost shaking at higher speeds or in turns. It makes for a less smooth ride which to a lot of people matters quite a bit, depending on what you're doing or what the skis are made for though it doesn't always matter. For example, if you get chatter at higher speeds, but the skis are meant for a park, then you're almost never going to hit those speeds or experience that. Hope this helps.
