For example: I wonder when fashion influencers are just starting out .. Do they normally keep records for their purchases bc usually they haven’t started to generate revenue yet
Hi. Thank you for your content. I’m locked in. Question…I am looking into an indy contract work in a venture that differs slightly from my previous venture. Would I need to file for a new EIN or ITIN if I filed as a disregarded entity 2 years ago and was inactive the last year? If I’m not mistaken, I’d for sure need to file for a new EIN or ITIN if I want to file as an LLC or S Corp, correct?
Good Evening. I'm in the process of doing my taxes for my full-time job and my small part-time mobile food business. I kept records and receipts for everything, except for my vehicle expenses, gas receipts and mileage. I use the vehicle for my job, business and personal for personal use. Will it be okay if I left the vehicle expenses blank, since I have zero records? I'm not going to make up any numbers. It's a lesson learned. I bought a vehicle that I specifically use for business, and started keeping up with the expenses and mileage at the beginning of this year. Thank you.
Good question! If you don't have any records of your vehicle spending and don't intend to take any car-related write-offs as a result, it's totally okay to leave that box blank. And so glad to hear you're already investing in your recordkeeping for next year! Before you completely throw in the towel on your 2022 taxes, though, it might be possible to recover some records of your vehicle spending for the year, which will let you take a partial write-off. You can use the Keeper app for this. We'll scan the past year's transactions to find car-related purchases in your bank and credit card statements, then help you write off the business-use percentage. @@KeeperTax I kept records of the days that I did work, and used the mileage from those days. I setup at the same location everyday, so it was an easy fix. Thanks!
Hi , i am an on f1 visa but out of status is it safe for me to apply for ITin? and what kind of job am I eligible to apply for with the ITIn? Thank you
Please email us at support@keepertax.com from the address you used to sign up for Keeper. We’ll ask a few questions to better determine how we can assist you, given that your wife is living overseas.
I was an international student that just took a break because I just married a U.S. citizen, I cam here on a f1-visa but now I am in process of changing my status to green card. I want to work during this limbo process. am I able to apply for an Itin? and can I file it myself or do I need a tax specialist to help my situation?

Hello, do you know of any trusted CAA i can engage in getting my application submitted?
What if you had a ssn while being a student on a J1 visa, how can I retrieve my ssn. It was lost during moving and I am no longer a student.
Hello- can I obtain an ITIN number with my visitor visa?
No visa does not matter as you are getting itin as non resident
