Wow… beautiful.. but, also a frightening & exhausting night. Glad everything worked out & the paddling continued… good for the soul.

From the beaver dam to the wooden bridge - how beautiful. Oh so lovely. And in my imagining as I strolled along there were no mosquitoes :)
Thankfully for you, Jason, it was just rain coming through the trees and not a tornado. The sound of a wall of water crashing through and ripping up huge gum trees, and getting louder and louder is also terrifying and heard by many station people here in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia. This KHP Park series has been special. Thank you Jason.

It's amazing that there aren't more people on the lake doing what you are doing, it's such a beautiful area.

You are the ultimate camper cheerful in some of the not so nice conditions not heading to have a hot shower in the motel bravo

There's nothing worse than having to go out in heavy rain to secure something 😫. Glad you're still with us because I'm looking forward to the next adventure 😉. That looked like a really pretty place to camp though.

I know the exact sound you're talking about. That wooshing sound from over the trees sounds like a hurricane is coming. Very unnerving. Also, you made stepping into a canoe look effortless (I blame the Canadian in you!) I'm usually tipping back and forth and holding on for dear life before I decide that it's not actually going to flip. And you just gotta love the sound a canoe and paddle makes as it's gliding through the water. Zen!

Nice video. I lived like this when I was a kid so it no longer has an allure for me but it brings back nice memories.

I can't help but wonder what do you do for a living? To be able to move to Mexico and spend the summer in Canada. Love the wilderness up there just not the politics. I could see being a hermit in a cabin up there.

Love the canoe as well was it built or purchased?

It is home-built and Jason is rightfully very proud of his cedar-strip canoe. Early videos on his channel will show you. Type in 'cedar strip boat building'.

Wait what is the problem with modern rain gear? A cliff hanger?
