This is, unquestionably, the greatest Masters of the Universe artwork, I have ever seen! Alfredo Alcala and Frank Frazetta would be proud! You have captured the raw, barbaric feel of the vintage line, and the characters are spot on! For a brief moment there, I thought He-man had decapitated King Hiss, until I saw his body on the ground... This gives me goosebumps! If you ever consider selling some of your works, I would not hesitate to buy..!
Wow. You are absolutely faithful to the toys yet you bring them to life in glorious colour and dynamism. And it's dark. I can't understand why we've never had a motion picture (animation or live) of this universe with this kind of art direction. I'm so sick of today's CGI cartoons, even Pixar bless them. I'd love a whole animated feature like this. Or live action that retains this feel. Wow again. Brilliant work.

Its great to read all the response to my stuff.I never liked the TV series but the legendary Masters-box-arts and especially the early minicomics, drawn by Alfredo Alcala hooked me.A rougher version of eternia without funny sidekicks introduced by a film company (Orko,Adam,Cringer ...).Unfortunaltely the TV series is the first thing, that comes their mind, when people say "He-man".
I totally agree that the Filmation version was not for me as far as being completely hooked on MOTU! How-ever, I did watch the cartoon as filler for the next big thing that would be true to the original art-work concepts from the box art and mini comics. I always thought about movies like Beast Master, but 10 million times better. I know holly-weird is going to ruin another attempt like they're doing boy-ra, unfortunately. There-fore, I believe that a bunch of us MOTU purists need to collectively produce our own independent MOTU the way it was meant to be, if at all possible. Obviously, mattel doesn't respect this brand that is far better and superior in concepts than any other franchise in history of existence. Other than THUNDERCATS, which can be a spin-off, being that they're closely related and similar. Also, having crossed over in DC comics, as did Injustice. It would be cool if after getting it right, they can all 3 merge for an occasional collaboration! Anyway, I'm inspired to start remaking my own version of a MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE animated movie. Maybe it'll take me approximately 4 years from now to make it perfect with complex articulation and quality visuals, unlike previous incarnations. "I HAVE THE POWER!!!!! 😺💀🤖👽
I love how you captured the more sinister vibe of the EUROPA-audio drama series. Most of all the "Höhle des Schreckens" cover remake, which is my favourite episode. Awsome drawings, thank you soo much!

I love the part at 2:09 where Skeletor is getting into Zodac's sh*t and I'm sure he is telling him that he is suppose to be neutral but keep helping heman out all the time. And all of Skeletor's crew is getting on him too. Zodac has the look of (I don't have time for this crap and now have to stir it up with He-man for no reason. Then He-man next is going to look at Zodac like why are you trippin? I thought we were cool! Then Zodac is like(man! This isn't personal it's just business)lol

This (and his MOTU Part 2) are gorgeous! Where to start? It certainly harkens back to my favorite “Version” of Masters of the Universe- somber, grim, barbaric, dark, violent (I love He-Man chopping King Hiss’ head off ). I wonder why 5 didn’t like this? Perhaps they were looking for Filmation style, or don’t like any computer assisted illustrations? Up to them!
This art is well done. I wish I had this skill when I made my Masters movie storyboards. Also the Highlander Training Macleod music rules the earth.. I am making videos on my channel about those movies I want to direct.

I now know so many artists, writers and fans, that when asked what hooked them, instantly say “The Box Art!” Impeccable work!
