Another homerun, Bob. Outstanding instructional video. I do hope people realize how much time and effort goes into something like this. Thanks again. Also like you, on another platform, I was forced to make a comment about the unrealistic expectations creators seem to have about these tools. Two years ago, these tools didn't exist and these same creators were inside of Photoshop pulling their hair and scrambling around with keyframe animation. So let's get real! This is an amazing journey and it has only just begun. Be prepared to do some work. Again, thank you for all your help.
Yes, I tried a dozen times to get Goethe to stand up: No. But roles work well for me, like “The newsreader reads the news” (even if it doesn't necessarily look like it). “The actress shows her emotions while being filmed”, ”... moving like in a fashion show (... chickens)”, commercials, commercial clips ...
One possible idea yet to be implemented on these models is to use the mouse pointer to guide the AI in controlling the character's general movement, and then give it a prompt to perform the desired action.
Nicely done. So, read the instructions and check the settings... a lesson we all need to learn! :) Now that I've worked out how to access MiniMax (I was trying to use a site where I'd have to log in) it's my favourite for producing videos; however, it doesn't have the features, at the moment. Have you considered using something like LTX to storyboard the video first? If I remember right, it seemed to keep a good consistency between its images, so they could be imported into Kling as references. I'm just thinking of ways to use some of the many AI tools that are out there.
Did you mean it took forever to generate? I did one last night and 0-99% took 20 minutes, and then I waited an hour or more for that last 1%. Went to bed, checked again and still 99%. So I wasted more credit and resubmitted, and same deal, and now still waiting for the last 1%. Not sure if either are ever going to finish, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
@@gdibble yes, that is the behavior I'm seeing too. Eventually the one I'm working on fails completely after a full day. I've given up on that one and on Kling for awhile. I'll try it again at some point.
Bob thanks for making this video. It's a little different from your others in that you address a lot of the challenges we as video creators encounter when we are trying to work with video generation a I. And you help us with how to address our perspective on these challenges. I really enjoyed watching you go through these challenges. I'm used to working with content creation programs that give me more control. A I is still involved, but more as a supplemental feature within the programs I work with. But you are encouraging me with this style of video to take a I on more directly. Again thank you. I always enjoy your videos and get a lot out of them. Although sometimes you help me to confirm that I don't want to use a program. Sometimes you get me hooked on a program in the other cases. Either case is awesome because I want to know for sure what's going to be in my toolbox in these ever changing times.
Most people erroneously assume that AI is in its infancy when this is 100% inaccurate and I can show you a perfect example of this, my Friend. Study that Kate Middleton park bench video from several months back when she made that announcement. It is not her and is clearly AI, if you look at the background, her movements, the lighting, her ring, and the proportions of the park bench, yet 99.9% of people never noticed this. The public clearly doesn't have access to the most high-end tech. This is just simple logic, hehe. The public has been hoodwinked and bamboozled, again and again, because of repeatedly refusing to acknowledge simple logic and doing their own deep research.
Absolutely loved this! As always, another top-notch video. I even used it to transform a woman into a demon, came out amazing! Can’t wait for my next release on Thursday, September 12th-it's going to be mind-blowing.
Mr. Doyle, I have been using Kling for Free for nearly 3 weeks and I’m wondering if the pay versions actually generate different images? I know that there are ways to control outcomes better in the pay versions, but does Kling work better and faster, and have less failures? Thanks for your enthusiasm and research Sir Bob!
Though I know AI is still in its infancy, your example of "keep trying" reminds me of slot machines, the "one armed bandit", where someone keeps feeding in money (tokens on paid websites) for the big payoff...
Well, again, I liken it to working with real actors in a real filmmaking situation. Multiple takes are a reality. But these are a LOT cheaper than in real life.
@exuno1107, you are incorrect, my Friend, as is most people, about AI. Simple logic tells us that it is actually VERY ADVANCED and that the public doesn't have access to the most high-end technology. In fact, I can show you a video that is 100% AI that is super advanced that most people didn't even know. It is that Kate Middleton park bench video from several months ago where she made that announcement. Study it. It is is CLEARLY AI, although super advanced, but still AI if you look closely.

Artificial intelligence applications still "hallucinate" quite a lot. Though this will improve in the future with more compute power and new paradigms.
You had a tutorial about Kling, where there was still sound in the video. They changed that, didn’t they? Such a shame! I really hope they bring it back because that was a huge unique feature
@@biancablackwhite4723 no there was never sound included with the video output. We add sound effects and music in our post production to make some of those clips more interesting. Well, there are so many excellent contenders popping up, it's hard not to get distracted, especially when they're free to low cost. Kling is releasing a new model with new features, including a motion brush, which will put it back on the radar..

do a search for motion brush. one or two online applications offer this. I think morph studio might still offer it. Others do too.

My problem with kling is that the time for a video to generate is highly unpredictable. I've had to walk away from some and look the next day.
