Lyrics:
Verse 1:
We're waiting every night
to finally roam and invite
newcomers to play with us
for many years we've been all alone
We're forced to be still and play
The same songs we've known since that day
An imposter took our life away
Now we're stuck here to decay
Pre-Chorus:
Please let us get in!
don't lock us away!
We're not like what you're thinking
We're poor little souls
who have lost all control
and we're forced here to take that role
We've been all alone
Stuck in our little zone
Since 1987
Join us, be our friend
or just be stuck and defend
after all you only got
Chorus: x2
Five Nights at Freddy's
Is this where you want to be
I just don't get it
Why do you want to stay
Verse 2:
We're really quite surprised
We get to see you another night
You should have looked for another job
you should have said to this place good-bye
It's like there's so much more
Maybe you've been in this place before
We remember a face like yours
You seem acquainted with those doors
-Pre-Chorus
-Chorus

It’s surreal how this song made it into the movie. The amount of fan content that got seen and the fact that the producers decided to add it makes me so happy

HOW HAS IT BEEN 7 YEARS. WHAT.
Hearing this in the theater was so epic. Hearing everyone trail off from the chorus for the midcredits, than jump in and sing again when it resumed was just magical. I was seated pretty close to the front, and when I looked behind me most people were staying for the full credits. After it finished I ended up discussing some of the movie lore with a random group of people I didn't really know. I'm usually incredibly socially awkward so it was a very special experience and I felt like everyone was in a synced state of mind after the movie ended. I hope to watch the movie and hear the awesome credits again while it's still in theaters!
although i didnt get to go to the movies, the socially awkward part is relatable
I immediatley called it out to my wife. Right when it started. And people were just leaving the theatre RIGHT when this was happening.
The few people that still stayed. I called out a hidden message (not gonna spoil) and I got really disgusting looks
