- Trader Joe's put out some great new items this week so my husband and I were thrilled to pick them all up. In this Trader Joe's Taste Test, we tried a Platinum Reserve red blend wine, caramel biscotti, a few interesting beers, caramel ice cream and much more!

Happy Anniversary! We hit 29 years this year. Our favorite places are Tahoe (husband proposed there) and Maui. I’m headed to Trader Joe’s this weekend and added the Mediterranean salad, biscotti, and Platinum wine to my list. Thanks for your videos!

I didn't leave a comment on the life update vlog, but hang in there, Tim. I've been there before myself a time or two. The hardest was 2020, I was gainfully unemployed for a whole year, the longest I went without a traditional job and it was HARD. I focused on my home based business to help supplement my income and to stay busy and keep my sanity and stress levels down. While I'm still employed with the same company now for almost 3 years and I'm extremely grateful, I've been looking for more pay with improved benefits and doing that has been difficult. I feel the job market is definitely flooded with like-minded people. The job meant for you will come, and it'll be the biggest weight lifted off your shoulders.
On to the food.... I've noticed how TJs loves to get on a flavor train and ride it well past the station. 😂😂😂 Sometimes, I'm down for the ride, and other times, I get off a few stops ahead of the exit. I haven't tried any of the new caramel items, but that Dulce de Leche ice cream is on my list. I love a nice Dulce de Leche treat every now and again. By the way, the Dulce part is pronounced "Dole-say" since it's Spanish. And fun fact for those that don't know, Dulce de Leche basically translates to "Sweet milk". 😊

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years now and I just moved in with him, so no crazy anniversary but exciting nonetheless! My favorite place is to find good coffee shops with him wherever we travel🥰

My favorite place with my girlfriends is Daytona Beach, FL. My favorite place with my husband is any weekend getaway!! On our anniversary in the fall we go away for the weekend somewhere within an hour - 3ish!! We live in the finger lakes area of upstate NY and there are so many beautiful places, nice wineries, breweries to see! And, on a much more replay basis, our couch!!!! Yes!! We lose to snuggle or even just hold hands while watching a good show. ❤❤
We live about a mile from Lake Erie. I love to go to our local park for sunsets. So pretty. Hope you had a nice getaway celebrating your anniversary. Happy 10th Anniversary.
Has Tim ever considered working for a winery in the tasting department? He seems to be quite knowledgeable on the subject of wine verities
and other selling points when buying wines.

My favorite place to go is Toronto Canada. Since we live in Buffalo, it’s a short drive, lots to do and the best restaurants.

My favorite is Bryant park in the city. It’s so simple but so big at the same time and always has something going on no matter what time of year.
Happy Anniversary! My hubby and I have a cabin out in the middle of nature that we love to go to when it’s available. We also love hiking at a prairie near our home, and seeing the deer, bald eagles, hawks, beavers, and all the other creatures.

You're right about Catalina Island; it's a fun get-away from SoCal. We used to go there often when I was a teenager. Now i love to go wine tasting in Sonoma County. It's a short plane ride to the Charles Schulz (Peanuts) airport in Santa Rosa from San Diego and LA, and so many wineries. Not as crazy, crowded and expensive as Napa, though that can be a day trip.

Happy Anniversary you two! My husband and I will celebrate our 34th anniversary in June. We love the beach! Walking the pier in Oceanside after a day at the beach and seeing the sunset is something we do a few times each summer. It’s a two hour drive but so worth it.

The Vino Dunk - Purists would say the only liquid to dip your biscotti in is wine. As they do in Tuscany, you can dip your biscotti into rich red wines, especially those on the sweeter side. Marsala wine and Vin Santo are the wines of choices for dipping. Most connoisseurs on either side of the pond agree that dipping biscotti into a sweet Italian wine is the perfect end to a hearty Italian meal.

Happy Saturday Katie and Tim! I will always support you all in all your endeavors. The crossaints look amazing. I was curious about the salad. It looked good. Biscotti looked good also. I don't think I have ever tried it. The ice cream well who wouldn't love that! I have never seen that corn before. Question of the week...I love going to the beach and having a nice dinner somewhere on at a restaurant where you are on the water and you can enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant and the scenery. Favoite place to go is the Florida Keys. I haven't been there is forever but it gives me such great nostalgia vibes just thinking about it. My second, more normal choice is my local library, it's totally my happy place.🥰

Hi Katie and Tim, thank you for the taste test. I love Hawaii too! I am hoping that our trip in a few months to London and Paris will also be some of our favorite places. Also, the beach, it is so relaxing to listen to the waves. Actually California is one of our favorite places.We go almost every summer to get out of the AZ heat!
The corn, icecream and biscotti are on my list to try, they look great. I always look forward to you guys trying to see if it's worth it. I love relaxing at home when I can but outside of that, anything in nature, parks by water, trails it's very calming.
In August it will be 45 years for us. Since moving out west, Oceanside, CA has been our favorite spot. Wishing you both a Happy Anniversary and many, many,pre to come 🥳🎉

Happy anniversary to you both. Looking forward to your videos for many many years to come my favorite place to go with my man is Paradise Cove beach café. I get my Thai my man loves to get all kinds of different drinks like you he likes to try new things. We love the shrimp cocktail and their steak tacos but the view is the best and the Sandy eating area is amazing. Great we can get away if you live close enough to go for the weekend that is in California I figure you do if you go to Catalina.

Gose is always sour (but at different levels). Gose is definitely one of my favorites, but I understand it's pretty polarizing. It's so great you can purchase one beer at TJs in case you don't like it! Happy Anniversary!! 🎉

Happy Anniversary! Gose (GOH-zah) is a sour beer and it's one of my favorites. One of my favorites is a guava flavored one, which is delicious.
Gose are some of favorite beers. They are typically salty, sour, herbal and about 5% alcohol. My favorite was a cucumber lime gose.
We love going to Helen, GA in mountains.
Katie, I want to thank you for telling me about the Mediterranean Orzo salad. OMG! It has got to be one of the best salads I’ve ever had from Trader Joe’s. I did get a big salad bowl to put it in, added some tomatoes, Asiago cheeses and olive oil to my taste. It is soooo good! Definitely buying more.😊

Gravelly Park in Washington DC/Arlington VA border. A hidden gem. It is a open public park, right outside of the National Airport (DCA/Ronald Reagan Airport). The planes take off and land from that post and it feels like you can reach up and touch them as they go overhead. You can also watch boats come in and dock. There are ducks, geese, all sorts of beautiful flora and fauna and it is just a wonderful spot.
To me, the danish tasted like a custard-y bread pudding when I warmed it up slightly. So so good

Great video! I loved the kitty joining in! The Blue Ridge Mountains are my absolute favorite place to go. I find new places to hike every time I go. I grew up in the mountains so they feel like home. I'm also a very outdoorsy person so I find trails/walking tracks no matter where I'm at.

Happy 10th Anniversary to you both. As always I really enjoyed your Trader Joe's taste test. I need to buy the Mediterranean salad and also the Platinum wine. My husband and I will celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary in October and we both love the Oregon coast. That is where you usually go to celebrate our anniversary as we live in Oregon. I also have a very soft spot in my heart for Hawaii. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Hawaii and renewed our vows there.
