- A new opportunity has allowed me to get my hands on some incredible cars within the Mercedes Benz range. In this video I'm reviewing the Mercedes 2019 AMG E53 Coupe. This Mercedes E 53 AMG is just beautiful, elegant, excellent proportions, luxury, sporty, powerful, majestic on the road, the best!
A top speed of 435 brake horsepower?! 0:59
I watched it back so many times whilst editing that I completely over saw this mistake. Someone pointed it out to me at work and I didn't even realise at first 🙈 limited top speed of 155mph and 435 bhp. My bad.

Really hoping they will make a E63 coupe but nothing has been announced
Had a slight change of plans to my schedule so will be reviewing the E63 Sunday.

@@lloydfreeman4905 I did, that's an amazing car. In the way of constructive feedback, I was watching on my TV via surround sounds and the sound levels between the different sections and the instrumental music was all at different levels, this needs work, sorry didn't want to dampen the mood.

Thanks for the review and good luck with the channel. I keep flipping between this and the C43 AMG.
One reviewer says that the C43 has the sports exhaust which, apparently the E53 doesn't and the user interface in the C43 is better. The E53, however, has a nicer display set-up in my opinion and does sound good when in Sports Plus mode.
What's your preference - C43 or E53?
Personally I've always preferred the interior on the E Class. The Wide-screen Cockpit ambeint lighting looks quality. The C43 interior is improved now with the ICD display and modified infotainment screen but still not quite enough to top the E53 interior. However the biggest factor is the fact that there is no Performance exhaust option on the E53. The C43 with the performance exhaust sounds better than the E53 in my opinion. Hi Lloyd. Thanks for your reply. I agree with you entirely which is why I cannot decide on which car to purchase. The interior on the E53 is beautiful but no performance exhaust baffles me. You make a point in your videos about ordering it where available but from what I can see the performance exhaust is standard on the C43 that you reviewed.

Bazza yes it is standard. At the time of the video I didn't realise it was standard 🙈 you could always buy the E53 and then have an aftermarket exhaust fitted 😉 I'll be reviewing the new CLS53 next week which looks unreal! Really looking forward to that one. Thanks for subscribing 👍🏽

At last. Someone doing a good review on the E53 Coupé and not coming from "over the pond" either.
Nothing against the Yanks, but they can never pronounce Coupé correctly. It's a Coupé. Not a coupe to keep chickens in.
Americans. Look at the "é". There is an acute used over the é.
Education lesson over, now back to that gorgeous Coupé...
It's a stunning car. Not an all out brawler like the 63's. But one that'll easily and certainly make you lose your licence if you want it too. I can't think of anything to criticise this car. The looks, styling, engine. Everything so well sorted and put together.
All I need now is £70,000 and we're good to go :-))
Oh! Lloyd. It would have been nice to have heard that engine and exhaust. That's my only gripe. A very good review though. Well done :-))

As it a performance car you should have talked more about performance and especially sound. Which you show way too less.

Hey, could you please tell me if this car has the optional AMG performance Exhaust system or the stock one? When I ordered my E53 my dealer told me the AMG Performance exhaust system is not available and I hope I still get good sound without it
Hey, thanks for your comment. AMG Tuned Air Suspension and AMG Sports Exhaust are including within the standard spec. There is no further option in addition to this. Though the video doesn't show much on the sound of it I had a lot of time to play around with the different modes and the sound in sport but in particular sports+ is awesome!!! If you are looking for the pure ferociousness of a 63 this isn't the car but for me it's enough. If a car can put a smile on my face by the sound when accelerating then it's done it's job. This car does that! Enjoy your new car when you take deliver 👍🏽

No problem, happy to help! Thanks for subscribing 👍🏽 in the E53 there is no button on the centre console. The C43 which I'm reviewing tomorrow still has the option of the performance exhaust which the one I'm using has and that has the button for the exhaust on the centre console. Thanks again

It will take away sales from both the C63 and S63. The only way Mercedes could add an E63 coupe would be if the S63 was priced higher increasing the price gap, but then the higher up models (S65, GT) would also need to be priced higher to justify the new pricing scheme. The E63 would make a killer coupe but that's what the S63 is for.
In a safe way Do this:
Start with styling cause of course exterior is also important. Compare it with others to see where the trend is going like now how Toyota is adapting huge grills to make their newer versions of Camry give a more sportier look. Move from the grill all the way to the taillights. Then the boot of the car.
Then once you get in talk about the comfort first, add in how it matches or is different from the overall theme of the car. Look around talk about visibility. You can try even mentioning the infotainment systems and all that.
Once you start driving talk about the comfort of the car like how it feels when you are cruising. Then head out to some roads where you can floor it and talk about performance and sound...Then finnaly finannly....Let your inner child out.
In the end, give your experience (Not taste always stay neutral cause you don't want to attract necessary hate and end up apologizing) and how it stands in the Market.
Oh and AMG cars? Suit up man, such cars gives you the opportunity to dress well and feel like a boss. Instead of looking like a Fornite SKIN.

So with each car think of it in terms like branding strategy, I have a MBA degree and experience in sales so wanted to help a fellow person growing. That's about it. I am more than happy for your growth and your vision you have for this channel.
Oh course I want nothing more than for this channel to grow. My inspirations are people like Mr JWW and RokenR who get to do this as a full time job! I'm not expected to be able to do this full time but even if I was able to generate a small following that would be a great achievement for me!

It's great and all. Personally I like the size of the car better the one of C-Class or C63 amg. The fact of the matter is that the C63 Amg is faster....way faster then this
100% the C63 is faster but it's an entry level AMG and isn't a competitor of the C63.

mercedes know not everyone is able to afford a damn v8. Not cause people dont have the money, but because in many countries its bloody expensive to own a v8. The price will double just cause theres a v8 under the hood.

I'm an honest person so have no problem with pointing out positives or negatives. I genuinely would have to be trying to find a negative with this car and even now trying to think of something is difficult. Its funny you should say that. I ordered one this morning. I filmed the C43 yesterday which should be uploaded this evening so the audio will be similar in that but from now onwards it'll be 👌🏽 thanks for the feedback though.
