I'm almost 47 and I have been locked up in my head with mental illness for 33 years.
I achieved nothing and I feel so fucking awful. Life seems so meaningless, their is no fun,no joy, no happiness. I don't get why I have to wait to die? I hate being this way and feeling like crap everyday. I don't have friends, I sit alone in my room crying.I feel like a waste,I dont live I just try to survive the day. Living hurts and knowing you have to stay and wait to die is a death sentence it self. I don't believe I'll never get better because my depression and anxiety wont let me. I fear living in a world I don't fit it and I don't like it very much.
It's a mental war that most will never understand but I do my best to be empathetic. Happiness is definitely internal and I'm still learning but we all have a decision to make when we wake up in the morning. Our mind is a set of programs that we wire and fire on a daily unfortunately a lot of times bad habits can take over
