Star booster is the only one that really matters. If you're doing THAT well in cross-server that you can afford more booster books after that - up-star ALL your heroes first. Then, if and when you get more blue trophies - consider the skill booster, as it costs a few million gold to fully-level the skills of your heroes. It's a time-saver but since you have many ways to get gold coins it's far better to work on star power.
How do the percentages work for the other boosters? Take the exp booster: is it percentage of levels, i.e. (team level - current level) * 100 / current level? Or is it a percentage of exp? Because if it's level, then it would be really worthwhile to get a hero to, say, level 90 with potions (relatively quick if you're team level 120) and only use the booster for those more tedious later levels, getting back three quarters of your blue trophies (i.e. 375).

Use the 3:5 math conversion (300 soul stones : 500 CS tokens), meaning: If I have 75 soul stones, I need 225. So the refund would be: ((300 - 225) ÷ 3) x 5 = 125 CS tokens. In written formula: ((Soul stones needed for next level - soul stones for next level) ÷ 3) x 5 = # of CS refund tokens

Key issues like having a skill locked or unlocked in the order and sequence of things. For example I think I bought and used a skills booster early before I had my levels completed and ended up being a waste &/or minimal benefit.

12:47, XP is the same way but it a little bit more confusing because you might think if you are level 60 then you get 50% back, that is not the case because xp required per level gets higher and higher as you go, at level 105 xp wise you are only roughly 64% of the xp required to go from 1 to 120, so at level 105 you would loose roughly 180 blue trophies (not sure the exact values I just know while I was evolving like 12 heroes I accidently bought an xp booster and lost like 176 blues while my Kiera was slighly above 105). Best way to use them is to always keep at least 500 for evolutions and then save up for the other books, another good thing to do is to level the skills up a fair bit as well to get as many blues back as you can, levels 1-50 skills costs less then a million to do while as skills for level 116-120 costs a little over 2 million, cost wise you are saving a ton of time farming blues if you get all your skills to level 60s value (60/60/40/20) and then use it because you spend less then 2 million gold to save 250 blues which saves you tens of millions of gold. Sure if you have a ton of extra blues then don't bother, but if you don't it is well worth spending the skills while they are cheap and then using the book to get half your resources back while spending way way less then half the gold you would have spent.

My understanding is that you are at 4star to 5 star stage where you need 150 stones. Since you have 40 stones, that's 40/150 = ~ 26% you have. Therefore you will get back 26% of whatever we don't know yet ( for absolute, you get 26% of 500 trophies back) If I were you I'd wait until I have full 150 stones to upgrade and get all 500 trophies back. In all stages you get full trophies back as long as you have full required stones.

For heroes like K'arkh it seems it would be more efficient to use the evolution booster than buying the soul stones with silver trophies, if you can get enough of the blue trophies. 500 blue equals to 2500 silver - 8.3 per soul stone, vs 13 if you buy with silver. Am I doing the math right?

If I just got Chabba at 3 stars with zero soul stones and I need 100 stones to evolve him to 4 stars Then I use the book, with it give me back (300-100) x 300/500 blue trophies? Or will I use all my trohpies

Now I can buy the book again and use it on Darion who is also 5* and 300/300, I get him to 6* without spending gold and get all trophies again, rinse and repeat?

@@Sekoleyte Any and all of them, for Evolution. If you have the amount of soul stones you need to evolve, you can use the Evolution book and get all 500 blue trophies back. Except Jet, you can do all evolutions for free with the book, if you have the required soul stones.

Every soulstone you need costs 1.66 blue trophies, those will be subtracted from your 500 refund. If you have 140 and 5 star takes 150, its 10 x 1.66=16.6. Your refund will be 483. Sorry but it wasn't just the math that was off, explanation needed some work. I have used the book alot to upgrade heros I didn't plan to use so didn't want to pay the gold. It's only book to buy unless your swimming in blues.

Exactly. Book is essentially 300 hero frags. If u boost 4* hero (which is 150 frags) you will level your hero to 5* and will get 250 trophies back.

This is correct. If you use a book when you already have all the stones collected, you evolve for free.

In a low paying guild, that includes free to play members, and in gold. Stick with it buddy, it is rough, but possible.
