Some parents consider "crap" to be a bad word, so they probably would've gotten in trouble for that. I remember a singing Bratz doll that was on the news for parents thinking it was saying a bad word when it was just a cheap, muffled speaker. The same song is played in the animations for it so, if they've ever seen those animations, they'd know the song and know exactly what was trying to be sung instead of what their dirty, adult minds interpreted through the muffles. Point is, products get in trouble with parents and recalled for the stupidest stuff

Also, interestingly, I just listened to a podcast which detailed a very interesting Salt. There is a salt which is sweet to the taste! In the Oxford Companion to Sugar and Sweets it details this scientific 'salt' as "It is sweet, roughly as sweet per teaspoon as sugar and only slightly more lethal then strychnine." This Salt? Lead acetate. :) (Podcast is Stuff To Blow Your Mind!)

I just wanted to say that with the slimi cafe one, although obviously the quantity doesn’t equal the cost, my younger cousins (4-7) love it so much. They love setting up a cafe where you get to build your own food. We have so many different slimes and squishies now, that there are endless possibilities, and hours of fun, so personally I have chosen to invest in the slimi cafe
I'm sure for those who don't want to spent 50$, the can make slime at home and buy squishies from the dollar store. It's the same result imo
