    1. Good Video - but please show us some practical usage... cut something.
    2. i heard something from a german channel stated that the circle cutter doesn´t fit the pilot arc nozzle. is it´s true? (some practical circle cutter footage would be nice.)
    3. do you think political statements needed to be embedded in a technical video? If you feel the urge to express your political opinion to the audience, maybe there should be a better place in a seperate video.

if he needed to send political statements, maybe he should cut the shape of the ukraine out of metal sheet by his plasma cutter

Those who don’t like the politics can tune away.

Prices are pretty random, but there’s plants of Parkside stuff on eBay.

I feel you should have expressed your complaints about war in private so I didn't have to read them.

I actually agree with Ukraine in their struggle against the Russian invasion and would love to see Putin killed, but I don't think political statements need to be embedded in the video... Also, I don't agree with him about "no war"... Sometimes, war is necessary... You should not submit to an oppressor... We do not have our freedoms in the US because we said "no war", we have them because we were willing to stand up to oppressors and do what was necessary...

As far as I know 40 amps plasma is not pilot arc due to the frequency of the machine is not enough for contact less starting and that is why it is dragged or need to touch the work piece to make the machine cut smoothly.Although we can convert to pilot arc starting but the cutting capacity will be reduced drastically.

Pilot arc draws some of the cutting power so using simple conversion like this (directly connecting negative ) reduces cutting power , as far as I am aware pilot arc machines cut power to the pilot arc once cut is initiated . Even the cheap chines cutters have pilot arc relay to cut pilot arc power . I have the Chines Cut50 (non pilot) with pilot arc torch and when directly connected (like on video ) cutting power is noticeably reduced , now got current sensing relay that cuts power to pilot arc once cutting is established . The 40 amp cutter is perfectly capable of contactless pilot arc cutting but cutting power will be reduced as it has no way of turning off pilot arc , mine cuts just as good with pilot arc torch provided pilot arc current is disconnected once cutting initiated

Thanks for very informative video. Great to hear you back. As an author, creator, maker, owner of the channel, good person - you have every right to express your opinions and support on any topic. Especially for a good cause :)

Hi, do you know how much kWatts those machines pull from the grit at maximum ?
    Great video thanks!

Great video, but I was wondering if the starting arc cancels out after it lights up?
From my understanding, and I'm defiantly pretty new to the Pilot Arc situation so I could be wrong about this, but watched a couple videos about attaching a wire to the tip to do a Pilot Arc hack for when your material is painted or rusty, and I thought I heard that the Pilot Arc machines and torches that come with them have the ability to kick off the starting Pilot Arc by somehow canceling the + connection to the torch, otherwise the new added wire to run the Pilot Arc doesn't get hot and melt your wires and short out or cause all sorts of crappy things to happen???

Pilot arc machines turn off pilot arc once you are cutting ,think its a simple current sensing relay , leaving pilot arc on like on this conversion reduces cutting power and shortens life of tips

If you ever have to take a public speaking course in college, they are going to have a LOT of fun with your frequent use of "uhh", "ahh", and "ya' know". I'm a retired engineer and I still remember that being quite pointedly impressed upon me back in college. You might think that an engineer would not need a public speaking course and quite frankly, so did I at the time, but I was mistaken. It was not uncommon to have to give presentations of designs to other engineers and managers for design proposals and such. Especially at large aerospace companies where I worked because for those types of projects, things are DESIGNED, not just hacked together.
