I plan on swapping a engine in my Accord in a week and this video just gave me a lot of confidence. You made it look so easy man good job.
Wow! Lots of hard work man! Tremendous knowledge you have!
Very good detailed video! You deserve more views...it will happen if you keep putting out amazing ones like this.
superb video, thanks for getting such detailed shots. Helped me a lot when pulling my 2008 V6.
Niceee.. own a j series and very good enginee.. subs+1 for your channel!
I’m surprised at the changes Honda made to the J-series 3.5L V6 engine. The intake manifold doesn’t seem to variable anymore, the valve cover is made out of plastic, & the heads no longer house the “Bridge” from the earlier 2008-2012 models.
I was comparing my J35Z6 engine to this Earth Dreams variant & the changes are a bit surprising. I wonder why they took away the bridge setup for the valve train, and why they took away the intake manifold’s ability to vary the speed of air rushing through it.
This is some major preventative maintenance! All seals replaced!
Thank you ☺️ _ Very good video and well done
Great !
Whatd you do replace everything you could while you had the engine out
Ano po ang torque specs ng bolt sa vtec solenoid at rocker arm holder?
the lift point for the engine on the front right, am I seeing this right? hang it off the throttle body?
How much $$$ does it cost to replace all of that?
Great job, but the rear valve cover was never sealed.
@@kitlacaden oh ok, I’ve always wanted to see how they’re replaced up close since there’s no video on how to do it.
And.. how much was it?
Why did you remove the full rocker assembly to replace the rocker control valve? Do what the technical bulletin says from Honda and save significant time.
Buenas noches mi hermano tengo un honda accord 2011 3.5 v6 exl sedan y tengo q cambiarle la valve spool selonoide trasera MI PREGUNTA ES SI AL CAMBIAR ESA PIEZA NO SE ME DESCALIBRAN LAS VALVULAS???. labor hours?
At around 100Kish miles on a J35, most all of that stuff is going to start leaking or need to be serviced. So if you're going pay a shop anyway, it makes sense to pull the engine and do it all once on the stand, versus fighting in a cramped engine bay for hours: Water pump, timing belt, valve cover gaskets, valve adjustment, rear main seal, solenoid gaskets, maybe even motor mounts too.
Poor quality work. Do not remove the engine and transaxle assembly from the top. Lower from the bottom.
Poor quality??? This man did great ! Maybe you should put your own video together instead of being negative.
As a auto repair DIY-er, it's amazing to see how professional mechanics to fix the cars.
