Poor Anne does get a real pasting in these comments. She was actually a lovely woman. I stayed with her when 7 months pregnant the year this film was made (I was part of the crew) and she could not have been kinder or more generous. I hope she rests in peace with her God.

Susie Mercer We should all speak as we find. Seems odd she moved to Pilton in full knowledge of the festival. She’s a character tho and I love re-watching this documentary.

Actually I am pretty certain that area of the site is in fact an upper class glamping site called Love Fields. 15 grand to stay in an airstream trailer for the duration of the festival. I had binoculars on it this year from the park crew camping, lots of flashy cars and 20 or so airstreams and yurts. Looked pretty sterile and boring tbh. No sign of the cross.

I must say how much I enjoyed this video !and also the levellers !I n my case we done the same thing here in france , about 20 years ago , we started a country and western festival , I supplied the pa system and the band , it is run by the local council , and about 5000, people turn up which is a lot for a small village of 182 people including people like myself who live on a farm localy ,but it brings a lot of happiness and all profits goes to locally causes , it has a few people who don t like it, mainly because of the noise / fire works show that ends the night , but be fair , you need to have such events when they run as well as mr Eavis , does his , and you will always get one person who trys to spoil a good thing , cheers ritchie .

The festival is too big and most of the people I know who live in Glastonbury and the surrounding area call it The Three C's Festival.... Commercialised Corporate Crap Festival....

WOW someone is unhappy! I attended this year and it was incredible. Amazing atmosphere, brilliant art work everywhere, everyone was super friendly and kind to each other. Times change of course but compared to any other large festival it is hardly commercial!

What a crooked character Eavis is. I hope the whole thing turns into a giant flop. I'm writing in 2021 when I imagine the whole thing fell over last year. What a nightmare for the neighbours.

He is well liked generally, brings a lot of money to the area, shares out the work with other farmers, gives £2million a year to charity and gives a living to 50 people, yeah terrible character 🙄🙄🙄

When I worked in Wells, I had a manager for a while, who had just moved to the area from Surrey. He started on his view of Glastonbury and whether I was considering going. I said I would be, and that I would work for a carnival club as a festival steward to earn my ticket. The festival puts a considerable amount of money into the local economy, while the company I used to work for has long since been and gone, and a housing estate stands where the factory used to be. This man lasted for about a year in the West Country and then left the company and went back to Surrey. Best place for him.
