We need to fileca FOIA with USDA and depart.of ag. Requesting all correspondence between NCBA and Tx cattle feeders and those agencies
Being a seedstock producer we brand, tattoo, Id tag, since 1969. started EID tags a few years ago. Our issue with EID tags is retention of the EID tags. EID tags do not need to be required

Listening to today's talk reminded me of something my grandfather told me way back in 1967. He said when you run into someone having trouble with lots of people it's usually not the people who are the problem.

1. We the people do not have representation in Washington DC. Our representatives have caved to the swamp. This is exactly why we need term limits in both chambers of Congress.
2. Any time you have a few with the power, they will force their agendas on the many.

Im chasing my local and state Farm bureau and cattleman’s association besides my congress people.
This falls under major overreach by the govt.
As a cow calf producer in Alberta I can say that the EID tags are an extra expense and extra work that no one needs. We have to have tags in all classes of cattle . We were told it was for traceability, maybe it’s good for that but what other data collection are we in for next.

If we EID all our cattle doesnt that help the argument for local sourced Beef? I mean I dont really care either way, but as a cow calf producer in Central Az, I am going to start lobbying my Legislature to push a preference on locally raised beef and be able to track that through EID. Again though I do this already cause we also lease state land and run cattle on the desert.
Keep talking about EID so people cant get it out of there mind ,

Corbit can a producer out of Michigan buy into this yes it's a ways to ship cattle but you would also have a say and get paid what there worth.

The whole idea, the premise, the reason for a constitutional government was and is to make laws to limit and regulate the reach of the government, not the people. Add this EID requirement to a long list of regulations that are antithetical to a constitutional government. The Constitution of the United States is meant to define the limits of the role of government. People have forgotten that!
That's the absolute truth however in this democracy bulshit a judge in 2010 said a company has the same a company has the same rights as an individual to Lobby Congress come out and then it was an Obama Nation and that toad removed the law that kept companies from spreading misinformation that takes a liability of every company in the United States away from them you can no longer sue them for false advertisement you can't sue them for selling your product that doesn't fit doesn't work not even the same thing they are free to do as they will Obama did that
