I enjoyed seeing this, also worth seeing High Sawry, Beatrix Potter,'s.house. The garden that Peter Rabbit went into to nick carrots well she used her own garden for that, and the wall on which the three cats sat when the ducks came along and messed the cats' clothes. So she used her home "for the animals".
Hawkshead is another nice village town in the Lake District with of course
a beautiful church, local businesses, shops, eateries, pubs and several other interesting places to visit, a lot nice looking buildings in Hawkshead

What a lovely place! Beautiful flowers everywhere and the outlying countryside is glorious. Really enjoying this Lake District series, though I sort of miss the seagulls (just kidding). 😊
In the tourist season you can get the ferry from Windermere across the lake to walk/ drive to hawkshead and grizsedale Forrest
Despite many holidays in LD over the years never made it to Hawkshead. What a beautiful place.

Last time I went to Lake District I got some but gave it all to a homeless person as he needed it more than I did
So I’ve never had any!
