Hire a Guide: Exploring Morocco with a knowledgeable guide can greatly enhance your trip. They can provide insights into the country's history, culture, and take you to hidden gems you might miss otherwise.
Be Mindful When Choosing Outfits: While Morocco is a vibrant and diverse country, it's essential to dress modestly, especially in more conservative areas. Respect the local customs by covering your shoulders and knees, and consider wearing loose-fitting clothing to stay comfortable in the warm weather.
Know How to Tip: Tipping is customary in Morocco, and it's a way to show appreciation for good service. Be sure to carry small denominations of Moroccan dirhams and tip waitstaff, tour guides, drivers, and other service providers accordingly.
Don't Drink the Tap Water: To avoid any potential stomach issues, it's advisable to stick to bottled water during your stay in Morocco. Make sure the bottle is properly sealed before consumption.
Enjoy the Local Food: Moroccan cuisine is renowned for its unique flavors and aromas. Don't miss the opportunity to savor traditional dishes like tagine, couscous, and mint tea. Explore the local markets and try street food for an authentic culinary experience.
Make Room for Souvenirs: Morocco is a treasure trove of beautiful crafts and unique souvenirs. From vibrant textiles to intricate pottery, the markets offer a wide range of handmade items. Leave some space in your luggage and take home a piece of Morocco's rich artistic heritage.
Immerse Yourself: Morocco is a country that captivates the senses. Immerse yourself in its vibrant atmosphere, interact with the locals, and embrace the diverse cultural experiences. From exploring the medinas to venturing into the Sahara Desert, make the most of your time in Morocco by fully immersing yourself in its rich tapestry of sights, sounds, and traditions.

Hi Lindsay ! I'm glad you liked it here in Morocco with your family. I just wanted to let you know that tap water is SAFE to drink in all cities. The only water you might wanna avoid just by the precaution is the one coming from wells in rural areas and probably the desert. So next time you're around, enjoy your water :)

Lovely place. I just got back a few weeks ago. Love the culture, the shopping of crafts, souvenirs, fruits. The food is overwhelming because of the spices. We had no problems about tipping as in general the tour company has taken care of that. We also had bottled water provided by the tour company daily though we ordered drinks with our meals on top of the water provided by the restaurants. Good place to visit, Morocco. Oh, they speak French there too.

Everything I have read and seen on trip advisor forum says that marroco has a closed currency and so therefore you can’t order it in your home country before you go .you have to get it from atms or get your cash exchanged in the country
