@ thread control and Nano-30d allow same with proper orientation w/o the Frankenstein flathead that looks unnatural imho … you are calling this the “most imitative”, after all ….
@josesilva8742 these chironomid patterns work exceptionally well suspended under an indicator at whatever depth the fish are actively feeding at. You can also fish it without an indicator at whatever tapered leader length you need to target the depth of the fish. (Allow for an extra 25% length of leader when fishing this way)
Try Antron instead of uni stretch , Antron maintains more contrast of white , uni stretch tends to go clear under water , all in all very nice bug , have been tying bugs like these for over 30 years , with the wing buds , and v shaped gills , I don’t care for uv resin , it is harsh on my eyes and skin , I use brush on loc-tite 2 coats is much more durable than any resin , still great stuff
Super neat tie and comes to life with the UV coating. Good stuff.
Nice job
Great Resolution !
Merry 🎉 Christmas 🎄

Looks great Brandon ! See ya on the 7th ;)
Deadly realistic looking pattern (as always) Brandon! That new Renzetti looks sweet too
Damn beads on backwards! 😂
@dsmith2601 haha au contraire, mon frère...this orientation allows for those gills to separate and splay out more like the naturals.

How do you fish with this patern?

@tyingismyvise Thanks!
Still water or stream?
Thanks again!
@josesilva8742 sry this is exceptionally productive in stillwaters where hatches at prevalent.
