Yeah but why would you want one. Its big, removing the battery cover is a pain in the ass then replacing batteries is a pain in the ass. Its also slow as well. The only reason a DAGR is used for is because of the SAASM crypto capability for anti spoofing. You cant key a DAGR as a civilian. The Garmins are superior.
Haven’t used one in years and had to use one for grading a course. Helped a lot!
Thanks to your help I got a company coin for explaining how to use a dagr to my commander
Lol
This video is super helpful. Thanks
Edward Barlow thank you! Please share!
As an RTO this helps
Helpful during these useless online lessons.
That was the point. Maybe help someone out
Hey cab you get signal with the DAGR in high altitudes and anywhere for like say hunting?
GPS data comes from satellites, as long as there are no obstructions overhead it works. Same way your phone GPS works without signal.
Im sure the gov loves that this is on TH-cam lol
Google DAGR user manual. That has more info in it than a video I made so the dumbest dumb soldier can turn the thing on and put in a grid lol

Thanks for the informative how to vid. 🤙 - al-Qaeda
Nothing in this video is classified or even FOUO. The sensitive stuff is the keying process but that is not handled by terminal lance 😂
What happened to the Rockwell GPS receiver, ?, is there a civilian version of the military grade version ???!?!, :)
There is, these are called DAGR and the civilian version is called Polaris Guide

Dope helped with my first real patrol 🫡🫡🫡
Good shit brotha
So did this require loading any keys?
no
Can I load time into singars with this?
chandiliers what does the singars manual say?
@@AndrewWolboldt I'm in the field and can't read right now. I assume not but hope you could give quick answer.
chandiliers yeah, it’s hard to explain. Get Zulu time off the dagr and use that to manually put it into the ASIPS
@@AndrewWolboldt I know you could with old PLGRS.
When its flashing does that mean the location is wrong?
Great question, I think I address that in the video
@@AndrewWolboldt thank you for the video, it helped a lot. I never used it before and giving a familiarization class on it today.
Xinthisis share the video link with your students!
He says in the video that when the flashing happens you dont have any signal
@@TheirsHopewithJesusChrist_277 Roger that, can confirm! Flashing = no signal.
You left your auto standby mode on so in 15 minutes your DAGR will go into Standby mode and you won’t know what the F is wrong in your video.
Thank you. I learned something new. If you make a comment about the steps of turning off auto standby I’ll pin it in the comments section.
Enemy now knows lol ha
