  • Full interview with Vijay Prashad discussing his most recent book, co-authored with Noam Chomsky, titled "On Cuba: Reflections on 70 Years of Revolution and Struggle." In this conversation we cover an array of topics related to Cuba's revolutionary history and subsequent persecution by the United States. Vijay Prashad masterfully conveys the resilience and durability of the Cuban people throughout its valiant struggle against its belligerent neighbor to the North. From Allen Dulles and the CIA, the atrocious bombing of Cubana de Aviación Flight 455, to Cuba’s extensive efforts to fight apartheid and dispatch medical personnel to crisis zones, our guest dissects these topics with unmatched clarity and affability. We are extremely grateful to Vijay for taking some of his valuable time to speak with us.

A whole series with Vijay Prashad?! That’s awesome! I can’t wait. Lots of great questions. I’m sure Vijay isn’t used to that level of research and reading being done on his books for an interview.
I didn’t know the west claims that Cuban doctors are essentially slaves smh. And when Vijay spoke about Guatemala that was very interesting, too.
    Thanks again for the interview!
