A long time ago during a presidential campaign the answer to a question was: Ford and Dole. Johnny Carson’s question was: “Name a lemon and a pineapple.”
I flew from JFK to Frankfurt on the Pan Am Clipper Maid of the Seas N739PA (Which was later blown up by terrorists over Scotland), and I flew from Frankfurt to Berlin (Germany, not Berlin China) on the Pan Am Clipper John Alden N320PA. The only reason I know the names and registrations is I took pictures. Lol I just looked up the Clipper John Alden N320PA. That 1966 Boeing 727-21 is still around. Apparently after serving several airlines, it was converted to a VIP configuration and at one point was used by The Jonas Brothers as their charter jet bearing N30MP. That airliner is 57 years old, holy crap.
I find more and more of this the older I get. I mention things like four on the floor and all I get is blank looks. I could go on and on. On the other hand I have no idea what the younger generation is talking about. It is good in a way, though, if I have problems with the computer or the phone, I let my grandkids fix it.
1:18 The old guy makes more sense. Cash is now called cheese. Wheels are now dubs. Subs are pubs. Kicks are thrills. Shoes are shoes, boots, etc. I think the topic is slang.
@@crosslink1493 I don't know about that now, "duece and a quarter" has been around since Bui-Hog started making cars 225 inches long in the 1960's, back when 15" wheels were as big as you could get without having them custom built.

Last time I watched (or could stay up to watch) was when Jay hosted. I like his "Garage" show, though.
I love Jay Leno used to watch him when he was on cnbc

Omgosh thank you for posting this!!! I’ve been looking for this for YEARS!
Very welcome! Are you one of the people in it?
ZZZ,
I'm 64 years old. Though I haven't had one in a couple decades or so, I know what a booty call is and my grandchildren know what groovy means...
Oh come on, you did booty last year 😂
This makes me feel old, because I don't know the young answers, and young when I don't know the old answers. I'm mostly old, though.
I haven't watched late night since Leno left.
I haven’t, either. I miss Jay and Craig Ferguson.
This settles it I’m old ☮️😐
I am in my sixties and did not know about half of the young-age words.

Hard to believe Jays clips are ancient as Johnny's!!
Johnny who?
(Just kiddin'! 😄)
I loved hearing a 75 year old say "fo shizzle" even if she couldn't define it.
They were calling shoes kicks in the 50s

I'm 64 and know what a player is; and going commando. But, admittedly, none of the other young generation slang.
I miss smart hosts that made light of ignorance instead of spewing it. Johnny, Jay, David...etc.
No politically biased rants. Miss the pure humor and lighthearted sarcasm.

To clarify, 'Dubs' are specifically big 22-inch rims. That's been around the car world as long as 'Deuce and a Quarter."
