eh spektrum is just a money grab man. horizon hobby wont even let pilots fly at there own event anymore. People should be getting the radiomaster t16. Far better, far cheaper, and is multiprotocal so your not stuck only using 1 brands rx. horizon just wants noobies who dont know any betters money.
Some people would agree with you. But alas. Most companies are just after your money in this world. But I like my Spektrum and if some chap tried to stop me using it, well we would have to have a little chat.

I would definitely agree that Spektrum is over priced, over complicated and aggressively over hyped.
Not to mention not very reliable
