It feels like his music, his voice, is healing you. I was lucky enough to be able to see him live one time before COVID and by the end of the concert I felt like I’d been cleansed. It was amazing.

When I listen to this song, I return to Oregon, where I went to school. The Pacific Northwest is usually overcast, but, instead of suffering dreariness, I enjoyed gentle regeneration there, and that's what I hear in this song.

@@aielle84 Thank you so much. It was on this day last year, after battling his cancers for over 3 years, that I took my husband of 28 years to the emergency room for evaluation. Strangely enough, a few days later, which was one year to the day that we had travelled to a Pentatonix concert (where Rachel Platten performed I'm Gonna Stand By You, and I sang it to him and he cried), we brought him home to hospice care.
