Hey! Just running through Korg Minilouge patches over some music I've made. Random Minilouge Jam session. I left a longer version of the ambient track at the end. I can't guarantee any chakra opening or explosions but I think it's pretty relaxing.

These ambient pieces are so calming and inspiring. And I admire the extra little effort you take to make the videos look pretty too. Just 10/10 aesthetic all around, keep it up dude
I find synth music relaxing and takes away feeling stressed
When someone is playing a synth
It shows there expressions if there feelings I think the synth is absolutely a fantastic instrument.
Which seems to get better and better as it evolves over the years.

somehow I never watched Blade Runner until 2023. I think it would have made a much bigger impact on me if I had seen it growing up.

I received a Korg Monologue for Christmas about 2 years ago and I'm still trying to learn it. I definitely want the Minilogue as well. I've been a guitar and bass player for years ,then I bought an electric piano when I was 32 years old and started taking piano lessons at my local university. I've studied it on and off ever since. I'm now 63 years old and I have had the desire to learn synthesis ever since. The Monologue is an awesome instrument and so is the Minilogue, I can't wait to get one.
Was going to stay in bed all day but your vids inspired me to create something thank you for sharing these awesome vids full of beautiful music!

reggy verhofstadt Minilogue is brilliant but to get this sound you will need a few extras like specular reverb pedal or the strymon big sky multi reverb

this is every bit as good as Brian Eno or tangerine dream. if there's any music that speaks to my sole this would be it. i have a micro freak, kaossilator but do not have what it takes to learn them properly.(i have other distractions lol) i can drift away with my theremin and straymon nightsky but nothing to compare to the sounds you produce.

DM12 is a great synth. A Pad Monster. And it can do some cool bass sounds too.

Sounds absolutely beautiful. What did you use with the Minilogue? is there any post production at all?
Thank you! I made a backing track pad by stretching out a short musical loop I made using some soft synths (probably The Legend and Omnisphere). I use Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch to turn that loop into a pad. On the minilogue I used some delay and Valhalla Shimmer.

Finally decided to get into synth and after a lot of debate I finally pulled the trigger on the Minilogue XD, even though I love the sound of the OG. Fingers crossed.

Hey! Cool to hear that you are getting into synths! I don't recall exactly but I think I made these patches myself. They are not very complex but the effects used make them shine. I mainly use Valhalla Shimmer and Soundtoys Crystallizer. I believe the XD has a pretty good shimmer reverb.
