It looks so pretty but...no world events like Sulani or festivals? That is a major disappointment, especially since this is based in Mexico and celebrations are a thing there. Unless they make the city itself worth going to, City Living and Get Together will continue to be the reason I play Sims 4
@@PLATAO68but there are many cultural events they could’ve made festivals inspired by… for example, they could make a festival emulating day of the dead, and they can even incorporate the base game sugar skull/calavera collection.
Finding out that this city is inspired in Mexico but somehow failed to include el callejón del beso in THE love EP is a crime. It looks very pretty, but man does it look dead. Where's the live music? Where are the festivals? Another wasted opportunity. Thank you for giving such a detailed tour
Just recently got Lovestruck today, and playtested it a while ago and it is chaotic 😂 Thanks to your new video, I will explore more of the features of the recently released pack 🥰
i didn't knew what to think about this world at first but now after seeing this video i make a good use of it (even though the hotel one is a rabbit-hole) this world is beautiful though, that's for sure😍😍
Anytime we get a world that isn't based on american suburbs it's worth celebrating 😂 and a latin american one too? That's great! I'd to install mods to turn Selvadorada into a residential world. Still, I wish they would've done a bit more with this
Nobody is hating on the world. We all just think it's dead, especially compared to worlds like San Myshuno or even Strangerville. In fact, the Sims team specifically marketed the downtown area, so we could think the world was more vibrant. But any type of criticism is "hate," right? (This is why the game keeps going downhill.)
Some worlds are designed to be lively as it’s the main part of the pack, like city living and snowy escape. But generally the sims world is just supposed to be background scenery with a few collectibles.
I have yet to explore the world and most of the gameplay cause I made a few sims for Lovestruck and now building an apartment in the new world, can't wait to explore it myself once I've finished the apartment! I also love how they make us can't sell the axolotl but release it to the reserve instead! Hopefully it's the same in real life too❤
Thank you so much! Really nice info about the world... I have been wondering if there was any area to swim and watching the video looking for that info I found so much more things. Really appreciate it.
It is a really lovely world and I like some of the added extras - looking forward to exploring it all. I'm wondering if you could do a bit of a deep dive in to the settings for the turn on and off feature? I've been doing a bit of testing myself,- with both the compatibility and attraction systems - trying to work out if setting a lot or a few likes/dislikes, turn ons/offs works best and I still haven't got a clue. My sims seem to have amazing compatibility with too many sims and finding who they are attracted to (without using the dating app) is tricky. Have a great week ❤
When i seen all an axolotl statue in someone elses video, I thought to myself "i hope they add pet axolotls" Im glad to see that they sort of added them 😭 i wish the frogs, insects, etc were more interactable but hey at least the axolotls are cute
ty for telling us about ring bear and the writing on the wall confirmed......How does this world to on spawn points for basic collectables that is a lot of park space so hoping for harvestables , and dig spot spawning points.
I just might buy it when it’s 50% off depending on what other packs come out in the future. I like the build buy and the world but the romance gameplay is pretty useless for me.
I dunno about this, cause I don't think the metric for size here is number of lots (there's eg, neighbourhoods in Del Sol and Sulani off the top of my head which only have three lots in them, not four). I think what's being talked about is the amount of walkable space around/inbetween the lots, with interactive stuff like food stalls and other activities, or room to 'place in world' your own things. This new neighbourhood looks like it's not got much of that space at all, but Magnolia Promenade - for all that it's the smallest *world*, but not neighbourhood, and for all its being on the smaller side for a neighborhood - it's actually got a pretty huge area around the lots themselves, where sims can walk, fish, play on the climbing frame, etc etc. i think what's being got at is that Nuevo Corazon has a really tiny space like that, where MP's is genuinely on the bigger side despite everything else.
@@AMinibot thanks! I assumed that he was talking about number of lots rather than walkable area. The reason I counted Magnoila Promenade as a neighborhood is because the whole world is a walkable area, no matter what lot you start playing on, you can walk to all the lots.

Im disappointed at the downtown neighbourhood, it literally feels like in a city but there's onky 2 penthouses and no apartments..
There's no reason to have event

'Event' in Tomarang looks like one new interactions and food stalls. I'm glad they didn't add new one in Ciudad Endamorada...
They could have had a Day of the Dead Festival. Huge missed opportunity by the Sims team.
the best part of a new pack release is new Petey Plays It videos
You are so right!
Aww haha yay thanks for the kind comment :)
You can actually swim in the lake in Vista Hermosa too!
Thank you so much for mentioning this! :)
And sail a canoo if you own one from Island Living.
I was going to mention this also. If you have mermaids, they will always find a place where you can swim.

Literally . Q decepción
This video is so wholesome, the vibes, the tips and tricks, it was so funnn thank youuu, it makes me appreciate the world more

@@gianeirationgco5163 i just got that pack last friday and yes it's chaotic for sure
I set 2 sims up for the date but the date didn't go well😂😂😂
Perfect! Was really looking for a detailed video of the world, thanks!
That's you, Petey, for this awesome tour to see the world in depth. I'm looking forward to more secrets 🙊 to come.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Petey! I won't be buying the pack until a sale, but, I love all your videos giving me reasons to!
This is great, Petey. Thanks so much.🌟
Great video again Petey. I always your positive vibe.

The gazebo in the middle of the park, in Mexico are called kioskos
Oooh thank you for sharing that cool fact! So great to learn these things!
mariposa, another butterfly hint
Can't wait to find out about th ring
while people hating on this world, i personally think it's cute. i wish every park in every world had that trail board!

I wish they had more community lots to do.
I haven't made use of the No-Tell Motel yet (I lost all my save files, so I've had a crap-ton of work to do!) But now, I kind of want to...
Yes! Thanks Petey! ^__^
Thank you queen Gren!

Dang I don't even have th pack yet lol u really on top of it XP
Thank you ❤
i would buy it for the ring bear and his adventure.
I finished the blue bear quest but my sim can't wear the ring - it should be available in CAS but it's still blocked. Any ideas why?

Do you review mods? If so, can you go over the fairies vs witches mods by spinningplumbob pls?
4:30 I think it shares the status of being the smallest neighborhood with Get to Work’s world (can’t remember the name)

"Public Bathroom", minus the bath ..lol.. unless you wash in the toilet, then that's a "Half Bath" according to Americans ..haha
It’s so beautiful, but honestly it’s boring. This pack looks fun, but nothing justifies the price.
No swimmable areas?
Heck
One of the ponds is swimmable.
Thank you for mentioning this! And sorry for not saying that in the video!
Things to do? Don’t lie to us like that 😭 all sims 4 worlds are pretty but completely empty and rabbit holes are not gameplay
fitst
dirst
first
OTZ = First in Simlish 😉
For the price of paying for DLC to a incomplete *game* it better come with an Adam and Eve store complete with all the toys 😂
Okay what kind of name is Ciudad Enamorada? Quite a mouthful.
It's Spanish, the exact translation is City of Love- lots of Mexican cities have Ciudad as a prefix :)
@@thecryptidGreyI think mariposa is Spanish for butterfly as well.
