If Gibson wanted to put out a new model that would instantly get a bunch of fans, they should make a single-neck six string version of these '50s double-necks - what the SG is in relation to the '60s double neck. Spruce-top, semi-hollow. German-carve style bevels. Double-cut. Binding. Cherry, black, natural maybe. Not everyone would love them, but they'd sell a bunch.
Have you had the chance to play with the Astral Destiny Pedal by EarthQuaker devices. After watching demos for the past 2 weeks, I had to pick one up. So happy I did. It's only been out since January but you have to try it out if you haven't.
Man o Man. These it’s impulse responses are great. I’ve spent 2 hours with them so far. You should put a 2 or so second reverse delay after the ODD Waterpour. It’s amazing.
Man, those reverbs sound pretty damn good...and I have the RV500, BigSky, and Space stacked on my board... This effects addiction is killing me... Lol... 😂
There were so many verbs on there that I liked. The train horn was cool and unique. Going to have to get a copy of those. Steve Vai would could make a whole album using those. Lol
I'm increasingly excited to be able to play reverb IRs live. I take it the digit/beebo has a max length of about 2s? It'd be ideal to have something a little longer. At least 5s.
Question: I want to run a Beebo in the FX loop of an HX stomp. Will there be enough DSP to run the following signal path: L channel: cab IR -> delay -> reverb IR R channel: cab IR -> delay -> reverb IR ? I want to basically run a stereo cab with stereo delay and reverb off the Beebo.
I have a question Leon.. this IR's are reverbs, but there pedals that are aimed to Ir's for acoustic guitar, and other most commonly for guitar mic/speaker cabinet. Can be used those weird IR's into those IR loaders? I'm planning to buy an Flamma Cab stereo and an AMT CP100
Very cool mate, my favourite'are the darker ones, must be because I like lynch, the sea, ocean. would sound really good as a background to an intro to a song. do you know if there are any pedals that do something similar.. Still like my pedals. Excellent as always mate.
Here's some more free weird IR's from AirWindows www.airwindows.com/fireworks-reverbs/ "These were a big project, stemming from one wild idea: rather than sample bangs in acoustic spaces, why not record a whole fireworks show and then sculpt those recordings into impulses? The idea was that such loud explosion sounds, captured accurately, would produce convolution impulses darker and more distant than typical digital reverbs. This worked great, and as a result, Fireworks Reverbs contains lots of dark, natural-sounding acoustic spaces… but it’s also got many far stranger things. Some of the sounds have odd overtones or weird details, and some by design are unlike any normal impulse. The Chorus examples are like that: they have flurried clusters of impulses, so sounds run through them become diffuse and scattered. They were all named for what they sounded like, and the range of sounds was surprisingly vast, even unearthly. They’re all fairly dark and natural-sounding, which is understandable as they are from field recordings. Many have been doctored in post-processing to enhance their qualities."
I should play the double neck more hey
That thing looks like a beast

that is literally one of the coolest guitars I have ever seen you play! Love it.

Those reverbs are cool. That cough one was really weird and funny. I absolutely adore that guitar. Your dad is a beast!
Slick axe, slick piece of gear, and the slickest hands to show them off!
Thanks Steven - you're too kind!
I can’t wait to load these in to my digit when I get off of work
Sweet! The twelver always prompts many questions. 😜 Beautiful guitar.
@LeonTodd Good Morning!!! Coffee and guitar stuff as usual every morning. @6:15 on the 12 string sounded like "The Who"........VERY NICE. "D"
Yeah that's the vibe hey!!!
Most of these have a "create a drone as you play" thing going on, very cool ...
Amazing stuff! Marble ones remind me of the Offspring algorithm on the Source Audio Ventris.
Agreed!

A riff you played reminds me to COG... and then you said is COG, very nice band!
Good call on that Steven Wilson sounding tone. He was great with Porcupine Tree. Drown w/ Me and Blackest Eyes are 2 killer tracks.
In Absentia is a desert island disc for me
@@LeonTodd That would be a cool video for you to do, "Riffs from Leon's top 10 desert island discs"

I feel you! I've got a Specular Tempus, Blackhole, PCM81 and an Axe-Fx and they all have their own special thing going on with reverb

Man running them with other modules in there is WILD too. Into the granular and time stretch is so fun
stack them with the algorithmic verbs in the fractals
The World Atlas of Coffee & Salt Fat Acid Heat...Nice!

3.5s
@@LeonTodd That's a bit more useable for trailing chords and such. Then it's just up to the recorded length of the IRs.

Nice, trying out the tuning I mentioned before.
Love it!
@@LeonTodd I always keep one 12 string in that tuning and the other in D standard tuning. Haven't ventured to C standard yet haha
That last one reminds me a bit of Houses of the Holy.

Acoustic IR's and cab IR's are often considerably shorter than the 2-3s length these and reverb IR's use unfortunately.
@@LeonTodd Ah yes, basically that's the problem. Thank you Leon!
Can you run these reverbs in stereo + stereo cab IR (or 2 cab IRs) + delay? Just wondering what the DSP limitations of the Beebo are....
Got some cool sounds ,great looking guitar ,what is it a gold top double neck sg?
It's a Double 12 replica

More or less the only pedal out there that let's you load reverb IR's. Does so many other things too, incredible unit.
Has he added a wet dry knob yet?
What model Gibson double neck is that? I have never seen one with binding before.
it's a replica of an old model called the double 12
Really nice presets
Pretty impressive for straight up IR's with no extra processing hey

Ooooh these are good!
More double neck yes
Weird Reverbs? Hi ...
G'day!
@@LeonTodd I guess they'll also work with the IR player in the AxeFX?
@@rocknblues87 I think the IR player maxes out at 170ms whereas the Poly can do 3500ms so the lush verbs won't work. Worth a try anyway!
@@LeonTodd Ah cool, thx!
Anyone know if the Beebo is true bypass?
'Defenestrate' is a pretty weird verb....
2:38 - it has a nice howl to it....
3:40 - interesting....
4:08 - LOL. Would love to have the tool to develop other reverb phrases.
6:05 - was going to type in that it sounded like a horror movie but you beat me to it....
6:53 - nice Eastern-sounding stuff....
