Singers , players and other forms of entertainers are not allowed to perform in India & vice versa . And wasim Akram is such a gem when it comes to swin and consistent line & length , our(Indian) players have hunger to learn & in Pakistan players kind of have bad attitude towards their senior players.
@Sake729 ya like Wasim Akram showed Irfan Pathan and changed his whole swing and pace concept. They are legends but I don't think they are good mentors. Pak has individual performances issue. Their ex cricketers are the reason the pak cricket is such a low. Look at saqleen mustak taking shadab khan, these association and personal reasons is why this is rock bottom. I keep that mercy away from India cricket. Even though Sachin is a legend you don't give a chance to Arjun. Nepotism, no young initiative culture, no grass route cricket like Ranji. You keep a champion cup and look for talent and then they bring all the legends as mentor. Look what the result will be achieved. When politics come inside sport the result is pak.

For example the northern railway , state championship, even some private companies like mankind conduct annually championships. BCCI spent a lot of money on scouts to find talent.
