I was there the day before, using a mix of mackerel, prawn, squid, mussel, herring, latex lures, feathers, hokkais and had exactly 1 bite. The difference a day makes!

There is nothing in the Clyde Nic - of any size that is. Fished it years ago in the 70's and 80's and it was good then. British boat caught [then] record Cod came from Gantock in the 60's.

Did a lot of diving in the Clyde.. Always saw doggies and coley loads of wrasse... Off The Cumbrie you got big pollack in the deap
