You got it! So as an update! You wanna use the sum mono option for one amp and L/R if you’re using two amps and you can only pretty much plug into the return side of an effects loop on you amp. As far as I know. Thanks for watching!
Oh nice just looked it up and they do have it now. They have another new one from them too. Something like a dual amp version of the simplifier. That looks cool too!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Do you still use the unit ? And curious of the headphone out sound quality if you can share. I’ve been looking at these a while and I’m looking for something that will sound good at edge of break up sounds.
Thanks! Yeah definitely still have it. Headphone quality is great. The volume is very powerful I use it just barely turned a few degrees from off. I mostly use the AC Brit setting and i can’t overdrive it a lot but I don’t have the hottest wound pickups either. If I boost it with my compressor I can get some very nice break up! Without out it I can still get just a little bit of dirt Which sounds very nice for my use. The marshal setting does give a lot more breakup!
Hey! So there is a sum mono switch on the R 1/4” output, this includes the loop but not the power section of the Simplifier. So the idea is then your cabs power section will amplify this output. The L 1/4” out has a thru switch which bypasses the loop section and power section of the Simplifier. The XLRs only output either left or right past the power section of the Simplifier putting out a balanced signal. I don’t think there’s anyway to sum mono out of the Simplifier. You’d have to use a sum mono box to mix these. Hope that helps!
Title says Demo so I clicked for a demo. Maybe you could do another video demonstrating different settings with your rig for those looking to buy one. Seems like a really great device but not a lot of demo recordings.
Hope you picked it up! I'm currently using a Behringer UMC1820. This video wasn't recorded with that but I'm hoping I can do a video with it soon. On my new board I have added a side panel with soldered XLD D style connectors.
Ordered the Simplifier too, can't wait till it arrives!
Oh yeah you’re gonna love it lots of use for it. I use it live every Sunday! Well worth it for any scenerio
Love this thing, thanks for talking about using it with an amp!

Sweetwater started selling these. That’s where I got mine. AND I LOVE IT!!

Bro, you sound like Kelso 😂 cool video, subscribed to your channel 👍🏼
Hey! Awesome video! What does putting the drives in the preamp do for the sound?

Hi, have a question : Where is the mono output to plug a cab? Free to use XLR or jack output in mono or stereo? :) thx

Good idea!
Thanks for your help! I have decide to order the pedal! The XLR cables where do you plug in? And do you use any interface?
You can plug directly into the mixer. Best to use an interface like the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
