Nice night shots and good to see someone who shows off the bikes night lighting. Now that LED lights are becoming standard and more compact, how long is it until they are gimballed, don't they realise bikes lean in the corners at night too?
Thanks for the comment! I mean there are some bikes that allready have that - but only on Bikes that cost around 20k+. (BMW GS for example) Im not so sure what to think of it - Moving parts tent to break first but on the other hand it would be really nice to see more into the curves. Its basicly pitch black outside of the lightcone.
@@marktaylor4277 I guess thats why most adventure tourers have the option to get auxiliary lights. Not as good as corner sensitive lighting and somewhat expensive (around 500€ with installation) but the road is quite well lit with them.
@@ScramTours All good. It's just a shame because of the low resolution. I almost always have my Action 4 set to 4K, 25 fps and 100-1600 ISO, which is also great for night shots. The camera remembers the settings, so you don't have to constantly adjust them. Best regards 😉

@@ScramTours Didn't know that, thanks. Agreed, the light cut off is very defined.

Quite scary… shadow is pitch black in contrast with lit part as you commented..
The camera actually mimics quite well what you See in Person.
Wouldn't advice Rides Out of town - hard to See the Sides of the Road.
👏👏👏👏👏
projector headlght is the best even in cars
Even though they are way brighter it wouldnt really fix the terrible visibility in Corners.
Why only in 1080p??
I used the lowlight settings of the cam which was automaticly in 1080p and i didn't think about checking the resolution again.
Sorry!

Así es ..ya los puse y mucho mejor
Those lights are pretty sketchy in turns.
After some Dark Winter Rides i have to agree on that one.
Auxilerary Lights might be a good Invest If you have night rides in the Menu.
There seem to be an issue with the headlights on the Suzuki V-STROM 800. You don't see far enough at night. This is dangerous.
It really is.
Yes you can get Auxilerary Lights.
But a 12k Bike should have Basic functionality Like Safe night riding as Part of the Base package.
Especially in tight corners. You literally don't see where you are going.
