In New Zealand an 8ply is a dk weight yarn although some of it gets pretty thin compared to other countries. 4ply is a baby weight yarn. I am so glad you like everything I sent, when I saw that doll pattern I just had to get it for you, so glad you did't already have it. I am not sure what bed spread thread is. Take care xx
