3:30 This might not be a translation error but I read that English isn't your first language, the opposite of "short" is "long". Not sure if there is a distinction between long and big in Japanese and if Lui did make the distinction or not, just thought I'd mention it in case 😊 thank you for all these clips, been loving watching the girls play this game

If my hearing didn't fail me, I heard her say "oki-ku" which does translate to "big", since japanese is very context dependent, "bigger" is technically correct, though in this instance; "longer" would be correct term as you said.

you dont use "long" to describe holes, unless said hole is a tunnel (...or maybe in golfing too, but with a different meaning).
correctly, you would use "deep", but "big" is usually fine too in regular speech, people usually will understand that a "big" hole is also fairly deep.
also, as the other comment said, lui (seems to have) said あれ?なんかちょっと大きくない? [Are? Nanka chotto ōkikunai?] and i think the simplest translation would be "what? wasnt it a bit bigger?"
_ōki_ can mean longer, apparently, but rarely
