Yanks not dead yet. Let's sweep Pittsburgh and take 5 of 6 from Toronto. It can be done.
Let the kids play
Beware of the meaningless September hot streak. This guy was invisible for 5 months.
good numbers all second half
When it no longer mattered. I like the kid and want him to succeed, but.....@@GavinOCo
@@362chop Being out of the playoff race doesn’t rly take away from how the guys play. We were out of the race when the Martian was playing too, didn’t make what he did up here ‘meaningless’, know what i mean ?
I get you but Volpe at .200 with a high whiff rate doesn't bode well. Thanks for the reply.@@GavinOCo
@@362chop That doesn’t really apply to my point but Ik what u mean, his average is concerning.
When it comes to whiffs, I don’t care too much about it specifically. Judge is consistently one of the biggest whiffers in the AL, and obviously maybe the best hitter on the planet
For Volpe, he obviously needs his average up, but every single other part of his game has been good. Ran well, great defense, impressively good pop, Consistently healthy, pretty good plate discipline for a rookie
He’s so young, barely had time in triple A, lost a year of development due to Covid. Not even 23, I’m very optimistic about him getting his batting average up which has been the ONLY true red flag with him this season.
