The 'hey everybody!' at the start of every video makes my day better. :))

I love the art style! That alone is making this game tempting for me! The gameplay looks pretty good too :)

Whoa great production values in the video! Love the overlay thing you do with the cards!

Looks very good, been excited about this game since the first artwork and reading the story. The game itself doesn't disappoint, will probably have to buy this in Essen.

I have been so curious about this game. Thanks so much for being I think the first person to get this game on video.
At the 38 min mark you say that you could have initiated your two secret objectives but you didn't want to because you didn't want the extra mouths to feed. Are the secret objective allowed to be played when ever it benefits you or are they supposed to be played at certain times? I feel like circumventing the "mouths to feed" moments after it was due seems almost underhanded. It its allowed then its allowed but I almost feel like the rules would be something like - objective cards are activated if conditions met at the end of the round, then feed inhabitants. Or - that objectives are activated immediately unless they are end of the game objectives. Can you elaborate on that a little more please?

basically i just waited until the next round to reveal them. you can complete objectives any time you want on your turn, at least according to the rules i've got...

At 22:28 Jen should not have flipped the objective, since she could've done (and in fact did) both the second and third objectives. Or is flipping mandatory?

yes, mandatory... there will always be only 1 event dealt with at the end of a round, and a bit part of the game is trying to control which event "sticks around" that benefits you the most :)

It appears the cutouts for dice on the player board is too small for the dice; they all sit lopsided

      they fit a-okay actually :)

Only thematically, and I think this is much more approachable overall.

This one really fell flat for us post-Essen. Under the hood, it's just a very basic set-collection game. Little tension. Few interesting decisions to be made. It's only slightly heavier than Ticket to Ride (to teach), yet it isn't remotely as addictive as Moon's classic game. Meh. It needed more card play/abilities.

Wow, we really loved this one. Fast flowing and fun, but at 2p you're playing the other player, not the game. You really need to try figure out what they are going to take so you can get the dice you want to. You need to plan what you want at the start of the round and try achieve it before your opponent does. We find it so tense! One of our favourite games of 2019, and we played a lot!!
