- Traders can enhance the efficacy of a stop-loss by pairing it with a trailing stop, which is a trade order where the stop-loss price isn't fixed at a single, absolute dollar amount, but is rather set at a certain percentage or dollar amount below the market price. Why is it that any time I tried growing an account I ended up bringing it back again to my balance which I deposited....,the funniest part is I never blow the blow the account.

That one doesn't need the stop to be trailed, if not you will suffocate your trades. Yon only trail stops on trail stops on trades of risk to rewards of 1:3 and above.
