Happy "90th" Birthday Ms.Carol Burnett ❤
I'm surprised nobody's come here yet in 2024. This movie is soon to be remade by Tina Fey as a Netflix series. The only reason I've heard of this movie is because I'm 53. Otherwise I would be wondering what the heck it is. I'm thinking that the new one will be a 4 season series, one season for each "season". I could be wrong, season 1 will be 8 episodes, so maybe it'll be 2 episodes per season every year.
I'm here. I'm 66 and fondly remember the original movie. Through you, it's the first I've heard of the upcoming movie.
Have you seen the original. It was a very good movie.
I share in your excitement. I’m 51 and I remember when this movie came out. I fact, I can still “see” the film’s title on the marquee in my mind’s eye. While too young to understand or appreciate the film at the time, something about the pairing of Alan Alda and Carol Burnett intrigued me. That being said, I never got around to watching the film. When I read the news about the upcoming series, the flood gate of memories burst open and I immediately searched for it online. I immediately added it to my Netflix queue and can’t wait to watch this gem ahead of the reimagined version set for series. It doesn’t seem like this movie came out that long ago, but I guess the older we get, we see that everything old is new again ;)
Classic wonderful movie that sadly they don't make anymore..
Here i am!
Just announced: Steve Carell to star alongside Fey in the series adaptation. They were good together in 2010's "Date Night."
It's my favorite movie!!! My favorite actors and actresses!!!!! Can't stop watching and laughing everytime!!!!
i have it on blu ray and dvd and i love it too i just watched it a few days ago and i can still laugh at this every time
My favorite line.... "Ann doesn't know how lucky she is to be out of this." Brilliant in dissecting both the pathologies and pleasantries in being in a clique like this.
Excellent movie. With an absolutely amazing cast
Im so glad netflix is remaking this classic with Tina Fey in the mix to introduce it to a younger generation. Im looking forward to watch it very much.
are they really remaking it who else can u cast in the remake
This movie is absolutely hilarious! I just watched it and it was brilliant. A classic.
I love this movie so much. I wish it was available on TH-cam.
It's on Netflix.
@@LB__1 I’ve looked a million times. There is always a four seasons but it’s not the one I love with Alan Alda. It’s something different.
@@tammydeland8791 That's odd. I just double-checked after reading your post and saw it was still available.
@@LB__1 ty so much. I checked and there it was. I’m so excited. Ty again. Watching it now. I love it.
It’s now free on Comcast
I really liked Jack Weston in this movie. He comes across as a worried paranoid but his character also made a lot of sense at times
I miss Sandy. ❤❤
One of my all-time favorite actresses. Criminally underrated!
I still watch my DVD soon funny classic
Wonderful Music 🎶 🎵
Viva Vivaldi!
This was a great movie...
Excellent!
Two Thumbs Up 👍👍
For the new version, they should remake this trailer shot for shot
Great movie!
Just watched it on Netflix and felt sorry for Anne. They all dropped her as a friend.
STORY
This movie is from 1981 if you like this movie you also might like “they all laughed” by Peter bogdonovich which was made in 1980. Another good early 80’s flick

😅
This movie is pretentious, unfunny, boomer trash.
How are the punchlines don’t land, the film is boring, and none of the relationships in real
I'm sure a Marvel movie would suite your taste then...
@@steve19811NOPE! mighty presumptuous of you... which proves how naive and inexperienced you are in the world... there's a reason why you're unsuccessful and low income in this life.
but the irony of you posting "trying to reach spiritual enlightenment" on your channel sort of shows you have no fkg clue.... you talk a big game, but are too weak and too cowardly and too lazy to actually back it up
I can't stand beta males like you.
you probably have never been outside your small sht hole town and trailer park.
no exposure to the world nor culture
