There I got in touch with the music of Baaba Maal and other artists from that region (at least 2 mentioned in the description to this great mix)... Those where times: sleeping under a huge tree in the yard, where we stayed... BTW yes, I recommend Baaba Maal, also his collaboration with Mumford&Sons.

Reading the comments and noticed more than a couple of people eatiing mushrooms and experiencing this music on another level. I never really liked mushrooms all that much, do to intense nausea and the occasional bad trip. However, when you hear soulful music, it sounds so fucking amazing. It really takes your understanding the beauty of music to a higher ground. And I've been hearing all these wonderful things about pyschedelics being medicinal, that they can cure migraines, depression, addiction, PTSD, and other worrisome ailments that plague the human mind..Anyways, this is my first time hearing this album and it really amazing. I pretty much love most of what is coming out of africa these days, especially Mali,, especially Nigerira, especially west africa, lol

I just went through each song's own video in youtube and loved almost every one - this feels like the greatest collection of Afro beat songs. Not being able to understand any of the words frees my brain to just enjoy the music/melodies without being distracted on the meaning of the words.
