Vicky Kaushal is such a wonderful actor. He deserved to get the best actor award. When he said that he had to give auditions in his earlier films, it clearly shows where hes reached now is entirely due to his hard work and acting skills. Moreover, he is such a good listener, articulate and seems like an intelligent man as well. Loved listening to him and his stories. 🙌

After Hasee to phasee I have not seen any of his films....Seersha I think one of his best movie so far will get him recognition, otherwise rest of his movies are just average and flops..something is fishy about this actor..after so many flops he has been getting offers in good banner films..which other actors are not getting.. Might be due to Kjo connection or something else..I just find him good looking avg actor..

21:15 Vicky and Katrina talked about this during their tapecast interview and I think he’s just defending his beau. Btw I do think Katrina is a great actress, she’s just reserved in her performances. I think her recent fearless phase shows her growth. Her past few performances have been amazing.
Vicky saying that he mostly respects doing the supporting role also and that adds worth to his personality and worth to the film and not only to his CV truly shows his perspective also keeping a check to keep a balance btw major roles and supporting roles. Gem of a person he is! Also loved watching Tapsee. Loved all in the panel and have watched all of them somewhere whether Adarsh in hostel daze, Sam in movies and family man2 and many films of Siddharth. Interesting point by Tapsee. We never labeled the heroes for being strong from scene 1 in every damn movie for decades, whereas we now associate 'strong women roles' with actresses like Tapsee, Kangana, Vidya etc. She is right why do woman have to be molested, raped, widowed, child kidnaped/killed or another woman in man's life etc for her to find the strength and emerge as the hero through the course of the movie.

@Ryan You missed her point. Until recently, almost all women centric films were driven by traumatic trigger. Think Anjaam, Gumrah, Khoon Bhari Maang, Kya Kehna, Shakti etc. My favorite woman 'hero' film where the actress is carrying the bulk of the film, which was also marketed as such (and no tragic trigger of course) is Jab We Met followed by Queen.
But why does she needs to say it again and again? She never proved herself as this strong woman neither in real life nor in reel life (mediocre performances)
Public want to see hero in a film.. they are inspired and looking forward to hero's character.. no one is going to theatre to watch heorine.. heroine is casted to the film for adding some extra masala or love angel that's it..

Tapsee was loud and a bit cocky in this interview. If you want to judge someone's communication skills (7% verbal & 93% non verbal) watch their active listening, tone and body language.

In the case of actors like vicky kaushal...man I have to separate the art from the person...I dont give a crap about what kind of person he is or what he believes in but dude this man is truly passionate about his craft and this guy genuinely understands the art of acting and potraying a character on screen...so enthusiastic about his work...thats what I saw in Irrfan Khan,Nawazuddin Siddiqui,Manoj Vajpai and Ayushmaan Khurrana and thats what I truly love about them...people that are true to their work...keep up Vicky ❤️❤️
53:00 I really like that Vicky was completely respectful and honest when he said "It's not like I was launched on a big scale where I had choices because I never had choices..." and "Manmarziyaan was the first role I didn't audition for" like CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? The fact that an actor of his caliber STILL has to audition for roles is beyond ridiculous when people get signed for multiple roles, as per their choice, even if they don't perform, even if they fail because there are no consequences for them! It saddens me that this industry really doesn't respect art as much as it does "popularity" and doesn't celebrate the right people for the right things! I hope all these actors much more success cause' they deserve it more than the so called "stars" or "future stars" these days. Keep fighting!

I remember Vicky saying in an interview that for Raman Raghav 2.0 Vicky was the last choice to Anurag Kashyap. Now, I can't even imagine someone in Raghav's place. People say he's a nepo kid or whatever, but dude really worked his ass off to come to this stage.

In my opinion, Sidharth already had a large fandom mainly because of his looks (sad but true and yes his previous performances were also good) but his performance in Shershah was just outstanding and only after that people have started respecting him as an actor.
