It's a cracking bike for the price my battery ran out 12 km from the end of my 60km ride and it was still easy to ride with full camping kit on it nice review Andy atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Yeah I used the motor too much. But that was deliberate like. I like it. I’d like to use it again for bikepacking. Hopefully the weather improves aye. Atb mate
I often regret getting rid of my old mountain bike and also often looking at getting an EBike but it has always been price that has always put me off, so real interesting to watch this. Love the quick release on the front wheel and the fact it is not too heavy, looks real nice as well, some of them look very dodgy. Love all the extras the horn, kickstand, mud flaps, toolkit really impressive bit of kit and absolutely nothing like the one I got offered to review, which was very poor in comparison, so I turned it down, as there was just about nothing positive I could say about it. Loved the colour and finish, it looked the business and yes, I like it too - impressive performance and looks an absolute winner to me, cheers Alan
I’m testing another one soon. Maybe 2. 😂 I’m determined to find the best one. This one’s mint but it’s over power. So not ideal. If you get offered any, take them. You can sell them on later. There’s a big market now. 👍
Hi Andy, Bike looks nice but range is very poor, I get around 50-60 mile on pedle assist on my wife, oops I mean my bike!😅! I noticed the low speeds in video also so not the best battery life! Cheers Mark!
Yup, my old (8 years old) Halfords ebike needs replacing. This looks like a good replacement. Shame it's not road legal but it looks so harmless it's worth the risk :)
My old Halfords ebike has a torque sensor I understand this one has a cadence sensor. Would that affect my usage? I don't mind the 15 mph limit as I really only use the power to pull away from standstill and to help out on steep hills. The rest of the time I cycle under my own steam.
Unsure. I think the more you are powering it the less motor is needed. Therefore battery life will be longer. I switched the power off part of my ride and the battery went up by 1 bar.
@@AndyWardlehow do you switch from 48v to 36v and what difference does it make? I have this bike, do you have any idea if it has a safety cut off on the battery so it can't be overcharged, I get really paranoid about battery fires. Thanks
