What should I type into the Aliexpress search box to find these snubbers? Or other suppliers. I know McMaster sells these but only in NPT threads and not G threads. Thank you!
The syphon tube will protect both switches and gauges from the rapid pressure surges from steam. These tubes generally operate from holding condensate and so we typically try to not use them for our temporary units as it presents a freeze concern. Some localities require the use of syphon tubes on pressure switches however. On gauges they do serve the same purpose.
Could those be used with transmission fluid or methanol?

Is syphon required for pressure gauges and pressure switches?
Is a snubber an alternative for syphon?
