Since this style controller is only one I've programmed on I can't say yes and I can't say no however I would say that it should be compatible throughout different series
Hello there, and thank you for watching. so if you look close enough in the video, I can't remember if I changed between linear and deggressive. however, the deggressive will take a deeper initial cut, and then the closer it gets to the bottom of the thread, the lighter the cutting pass will get until you reach the final depth of the threads. The linear motion will take equal depths of cuts until it reaches the final depth of the threads. It's funny that you had just commented on this specific video because my students had a part with 3/4-10 threads, and we set it up on no time.
@@aaronrunk4209 awesome thank you so much for the reply! I gave deggressive a shot at work when chasing the threads for a ballscrew nut and it cut the time almost in half! We used to do .001" per pass and it would take 2+ hours for some of them. :) Love your videos keep them coming!
