    In my textbook, Fluorine is pale green, Chlorine is yellow green, Bromine is red black, Iodine is grey black and Astatine is black.

      The exam mark scheme would allow any of the colours mentioned in the video and also what you said! However, bromine is closer to reddish brown. Remember colour is very subjective, as long as the main colour is said, the exam will accept it

    Why displacement reaction of halogens are not taken in aqueous solution ????

      When in aqueous solution, the ions are free to move, to allow the displacement reaction to take place and to see the colour change
