Also Alex and Maggie totally watch POI and Maggie loves Carter, the detective and the only sane one, and Alex related hardcore to Shaw.

Remastered Gamers I remember reading somewhere (a tweet from Chyler, I think) that Florina was very sick during an emotional scene, but delivered like a champ; I'm pretty sure it was during that laptop scene.
And you make some interesting points about Lena and Kara, but Lena's excitement at this technology was about helping to make the world a better place and do good with it. She's smart and brilliant and she figured out Rhea so quickly, and I genuinely believe that whilst she will be working with her, she has no intention of doing anything other than good with it. Sure, we know it's going to turn to shit, but I hope like hell that Kara understands, Lena isn't too negatively affected and I swear to god I'll be done with this show if that's Lena's evil arc because she was so fascinated because of all these good things she could do, she's not about to jump into anything evil just because she's working with Rhea for it.
Alex is totally a Shaw! But Lena is a little bit of a Root. She has her own agenda and is always a step ahead. And maybe that will make her look like a villain for a while, but really she is just looking for a place where she belongs.
This was one of the best episodes of this season,, and to be honest I don't mind Mon El at all when we see a little of him, and I don't mean it in a rude way, it just works with his little silliness here and there is good, but when you have him in most of an episode it's just way too much. And I really like Teri Hatcher as a villain,, xx
Having him as the goofy sidekick character makes a million times more sense than as a love interest for Kara. He's fine when he's a little helpful but mostly just says stupid things, it's when he's abusing the hell out of Kara and taking up all the screentime that we have issues with him.
Although it was better, I think that it could have been better. They finally got closer to getting back the Danvers core, but Kara was reduced to punching things. They don't seem to think of S1 when she convinced a robber to drop his weapon with words when she didn't have powers, or almost convincing Astra to stand down with her words. That being said I prefer this S2B to S2A

SMH, gotta disagree to the "biggest badass award" going to Alex Danvers. Shaw freed HERSELF from a Samaritan prison in South Africa after going through over 7,053 simulations (5x08), she performed surgery on herself then took out a bunch of drug dealers and the guy who set up her and her partner, (2x16), and she escaped the clutches of the Russians and took the Russian bosses' blood, all to rescue a little girl (3x05) I can see a comparison to Shaw, but don't agree they're on the same level, especially when you consider Shaw's limitations with her Axis II personality disorder. Shaw > Alex IMO
