Born in 1912…. Died in 2001… that man saw it allll and was the soundtrack to a nation in change. This one chord boogie has more soul, more feeling, more grit than is the sum of its parts. I cried like a bitch when he died. I was living in the Virgin Islands on my sailboat, and I thought of all the times cruising in my Oldsmobile in Philly wearing out his cassette. I got off work from the woodshop, went to the boat, put this on, poured a drink, and gave him a tipple over the side. R.I.P.
Well let"s boogie, with the boogie master, who rightfully got what he deserved, in his old days. All of a sudden, John fitted in, and everybody wanted a piece of the old master and pioner.
Tabs wont help. the notes are quite easy. The rhythm is what's tricky: it's the BOOGIE. Hold the open E chord, and pull off the G string from the third fret to the second (4th to third), .... etc.

A drink? That's not enough! Remember; 'One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer'. Repeat.
